This one is super relatable when it came to the copic markers. You're just like woah, these are super cool, every good artist uses them. Then the price tag just shoves you away~ Can't even purchase that.

You don't need them. At first I wanted to get them but now after trying them out a few times and using watercolours they kind of seem like crippled watercolours. I mean, you can only really do layers and blend, no cool wet on wet effects, no getting a handful of colours and mixing them to get bazillions of colours, no 10-20+ layers because otherwise you'd draw through the paper. It might be slightly more convenient to use quickly but since there are loads you can't really take them places and it's not as if watercolours take loads of preparation, just get water, get paints , brushes and a towel and get your paper and you're done. And they are not lightfast.

My biggest problem isn't with my art or "non artists", rather it's the fact that there are hundreds of thousands who look and act like me trying to pursue similar dreams at a much more rapid pace than me. Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the many drones working at the same goal with only so many differences separating us. It's more like a selfish thought that makes me want to have an existential crisis and not an "artist problem". Fun fun.

So, your saying you feel like everyone else has the same goal as you that makes you feel un-special and you'd rather not exist, I sometimes feel the same way but everyone has something different so that means that you would technically be different too, making you unique … I think, yeah, like there are a lot of storytime artists/animators but they don't care if their similar. So you shouldn't too and just enjoy your life at the fullest.(sorry for the not so good grammer)

My problem is drawing at school (tis why I draw at home most of the time now) Everyone is pretty nosey at my school and everytime someone brings a sketchbook you know the moment you walk away from the table everyone is all over your sketchbook. I don't have anything bad in my sketchbook but i'm an awkward and usually quite person. So when someone comes up to me while drawing and asks if they can see my sketchbook I quickly act like i'm putting it away and say ''oops sorry''. But when someone watches me draw for no reason my picture goes from good to bad real fast, and the person watching is usually like ''LOOK AT HER DRAW! ITS SO GOOD!'' But I look at the picture and it's crap. If I could draw at school with no one bothering me that means more improvement and realism drawings by looking at things around me. BUT THE PEOPLE ARE HELLA ANNOYING FAM HELP ME.

My gawd... I remember having one of my friends look through my sketchbook and she saw a half finished drawing with.... no clothes drawn on yet. And another time I was drawing cause we had free time in class, the guy that sat next to me asked if he could use my sketchbook to practice his signature on. You can see how that turned out.

One the first page of all my sketchbooks it says “If you want me to draw something read this: Messy sketch: $4 Lineart: $15 Colored picture: $20 No I will not draw anything for free, yes you HAVE to pay the full price. Whenever someone asks me to draw something I flip to that page.

Another victorious relatable video! All of these are annoying, and I struggle with them as well. Especially with the person bumping into you while you're drawing. That's happened to me so many times, and whenever I say something about it like a simple request that they don't shake the table as much, and not be so rowdy, they just dismiss me. Me: Hey, can you not shake the table as much? I'm trying to finish this drawing. Them: It's not that big of a deal. It's just art, and if it bothers you that much, just leave! No one is stopping you.

Another problem us artists go through is “Omg can you draw me?” Then when I say no people are like “why not? I thought you were an artist.” Then I reply “I am but I don’t want to draw people.” “Hmph, you’re bad at drawing anyway” Then I’m like o-ok I guess I’ll go curl up and sleep for eternity TwT
