I had a teacher like this. She wasn't five foot, but she was a bad teacher. She would yell at us to "STOP THE TALKING" but that wasn't as frequent. She was also my 8th grade science teacher. Anyway! We didn't learn anything when she was there. She came in like third nine weeks, until the end of the year. During that time, I learned about her ex husband, two children, her favorite color(she wore it everyday and it was purple), her pets, where she lived, what she like to do, etc. basically anything that didn't relate to what we were supposed to be learning. One of the science classes she taught got their review LITERALLY HOURS BEFORE THEIR FINAL EXAM!!! And during my class, which is full of pubescent delinquents, we were supposed to be going over our study guide for our final exam. She told us to get into groups, so we got with our friends and we sat down. Everyone is talking, and she doesn't say a word. But in their minds, they didn't care. It was a free period that they're getting to talk in, and the teacher isn't telling them to be quiet. Only my group and a couple of other people were concerned for when we would start going over the review. The bell rang and we all looked to my teacher. She sat up, and said, "Good luck on your test!" We were just like, "Mrs. Purple, why didn't we go over the review. Wtf?" Her response was, "Well, you should have stopped talking! If you were quiet, we could've gotten it done!" Like what?! Excuse me, but last time I checked, basically the entire class was pubescent delinquents that liked to talk A LOT. If you want us to shut up, you have to tell us to shut up. We aren't going to walk into a class, sit down, and not talk at all. How the people in my class were acting, the words "shut up" or "be quiet" weren't in their vocabulary. The only thing I remember while I was in her class was a project that I did on Parkinson's Disease. And I did that on my own. She just gave us school laptops, and told us that we had to look up a disease and present it to the class. That was it. Overall, her teaching skills were very questionable, and because we didn't learn anything in there, my biology teacher is having to catch us up before she can actually start teaching biology. (I'm in 9th grade now)

I once got an 87 on my math test, and I was disappointed because I was close to an a. The only mistake I made was in a question that asked something like, who’s recipe uses more chocolate? (This was like, fourth grades and it was fractions) I put down who’s recipe used less chocolate and got 3 points off. My friend made the same mistake, but got .5 points off. The one test made the difference of an A to a B in my math class. I asked the teacher and he claimed it was ‘because I had poorly answered the question.’

I had a French teacher, in ehh... I was 13, no clue which grade that is in the American system. But she had this system where she would put the kids who were bad at languages (but generally better at maths) on one side and the talented kids on the other side of the classroom. Good was left, bad was on the right side. Then she proceeded to completely ignore the right side of the classroom and when asked if we could have some help or maybe an explanation or, you know, have textbooks, she would get less than an inch away from your face and scream/humiliate you in front of the entire class. Obviously, this made the already failing half of the class (well, most had decent grades but the line had to be drawn through the middle, simply classroom geometry) less than chanceless and utterly afraid to complain. (note, this was Catholic school, complaining about teachers to parents was not done much since most believed that hazing=strictness=healthy). I failed that subject with miserably flair.

Ok so I was in the like 6th grade, I think. I had this teacher who was just a wacko. So we had to do this scooter project where you had to a scooter and add things to a scooter to make it better. So I made My scooter and drew it. When I got it back, on the top of the page it says “ your artistic abilities are not up to par” like ok, nice. And guess what grade I get, a flipping 45! She was kind of a jerk to my best friend/my adopted sister, always getting on to her for being distracted. Me and another student were pulled aside for completely missing the exact same question even though we were across the room from each other while taking the test. The teacher understood (hopefully) but I am still worried to this day that she thinks I cheated. I personally didn't see the question because it kind looked like the start of the next question so I gave it a " A car blah blah is moving blah blah... Oh so the question will be about inertia" and continued to read the values of what I thought was the same question (even though it was the next question). Although the teacher was pretty cool and it was a pretty fun class.

Brendan Bush I had one teacher, who obviously didn’t like me, pull me and my friend aside during class, whilst taking a test, because she believed we were cheating. She yelled at my friend for ‘looking at my paper and touching it’. She was flipping to the next page and accidentally touched mine. She got a zero on the test. I felt so bad. Another time, the same teacher called me and friend to verify we weren’t cheating, because we were on the same question. She was about ten questions behind me, and it was a timed test. I didn’t finish the test and I got a B, because of that teacher.

Usually in younger grades, calculators aren’t needed, because that math should be able to be done on your own. As Sapph_Playz said, calculators are needed when using exact pi or, per say, when doing advanced math. I’m in 7th grade, but doing 8th grade math, and I’m only aloud to use calculators on timed tests, which is rare. Once you get in to high school or more advanced classes, calculators will be an option.

Lol my math teacher is around 5 foot tall too and she's not a very "pleasant" Person (I'm trying so.. Hard not to swear right now) She would always act all nice to all the smart kids in class and got mad whenever the stupid one's eyes weren't on her ,I mean I was looking at the white board and reading the mathematical system she wrote down and she think I was daydreaming. And started yelling at me and asked me why I weren't paying attention I answer honestly I was looking at the white board to understand the way on solving the math problem while she was explaining, she then said that I wasn't looking at the white board and that I'm not paying attention (my mind : WTF). I ended up crying (I only cry because I'm embarrassed, she yelled at me in front of the whole class) then she said "I won't give any sympathy to children who cries " And I was like, "b*tch you think I want your sympathy don't be so full of your self, you piece of sh*" Ehem sorry ,guess I failed on trying not to swear.
