Hey Eduard. I really like your vids and i always watch with happiness in my heart.I'm also magician, and I have a sad story. When I was in vacation in Australia, I went do the sea shore and lay in the beach, and it was perfect.Until some guy offered me to be photographed with his monkey. I agreed and when the monkey was sit on my shoulder, suddenly I got a furious attack !! ( it's a disease) and in that moment I was grab the monkey's tale and bite his throat like a lion!.The monkey's screams will hunt my dreams forever.When I came back to my country, I build a farm for monkeys to memory of the monkey that I chewed. and some day I got again the fury attack and I closed the gates of the farm and burned the all monkeys .My conclusion from this experience was that I'm not good with monkeys, and I learned magic instead. With magic in my life I'm not suffered from the fury attacks again.I'm magician for 3 weeks now. This is the proof that I'm cured :)

I'm not a magician of any sort but I think I saw something that could be the key to this trick. David Parr did get his hand on both cards. The first card he laid on allison's deck and obviously he was the one revealing the card on his deck. Which means, he could simply plant the card. Note that both decks were not new but rather tied with rubber band. Which means he could have removed 4 of diamonds from Allison's deck. Allison did a fine job covering that with her lack of skill when asked to show all of the cards the first place. But then again, I'm not a magician of any sort.

The clue is in the fact that they traded decks before the reveal. Both fours were in his control at some point.

The audio issue is more than likely because the song that was initially used is copyrighted, so the uploader inverted the track with the song file in order to filter out the song in the clip and nothing else. It's either that or the uploader hates their audience.

I haven't had a chance to test it, but I think maybe he may be using a Svengali principal along with some things being a little rough. If I had to guess at how he did it it would be this: The 4 of diamonds is a force. The card Alison puts into his deck wasn't the 4 of diamonds. At some point after she put her card in his deck, he did some slight of hand to swap out her card for a red-back 4 of diamonds. After which, the trick just goes on normally.
@MichaelRosmer

I don't think I'm revealing anything by saying this, but could Penn and Teller have been wrong by saying they didn't think there were double backers or marked cards? That's the only way I know to do a do as I do routine. Had to be a gaff somewhere. And those are Maiden backs. So that blows another of my theories. And a full fan, that could be done with my previous theory but not with any Bicycle decks I've ever seen (plus hella risky - and using the deck I'm thinking is so well known in the magic community by now they would not have flown under the radar for Penn and Teller). And using different colored backers eliminates a lot of moves. But I'm thinking it's a mix of Tamariz, Marquez Quardero, and an invisible sleight. And obviously I could be completely wrong.

I think this is a variation on Election (Eric Ross), though I'll need to think it through as to the exact method. Great routine though, love the use of the bell. edit - I just worked it through with the election gaffe mechanism and it looks exactly the same as this. It ends cleaner than election, and lends itself to the routine, but I think the way election works with the magician NEVER handling the cards is more powerful. Not necessarily a better routine, but stronger magic. I'll be adding this to my repertoire though.
