Today's video is just a fun little unboxing of Lucy Cavendish's new oracle deck, Magickal Spellcards. This deck is pretty much what it says on the tin - cards with spells and ideas for performing magickal workings.
The deck has 45 cards and a 152-page guidebook, and I think it's pretty cool!

Beautiful deck! I've been thinking of what kind of Oracle Deck I should get mainly since I am still researching everything about this lifestyle, and this one piqued my interest very much! Once again, thank you Katey for another awesome review!

I enjoy these cards. I think they actually pair quite nicely with a variety of decks. The only problem is if you read professionally some people may be off put by Wicca / Pagan verse on the card. I kinda wish it was more generalized on the card. I personally like the verse though; it reminds me of Charmed. But I love them and really wouldn’t change them. Also the little craft/spell in the book it nice.

Kadden Matthews, I've used both versions of this deck in my professional practice without any problems. Many of my clients actually found them quite empowering as they open the door to dialogue and personal reclamation of themselves. It's inspiring when a client returns to you with the positive results of their workings. I use the Witchlings deck the same way in the Tarot share.

OyasGirl Good to know. Most people who get tarot readings are more open minded. I normally pull oracle cards toward the end, so I would already have a feeling about how well they would be received. Thanks for the reply 🙏

I don’t think this would be a deck for everyone - then again, no deck really is for everyone! I’m not sure I would use these as I would every other oracle deck, though. To me, these are more for personal use, direction and inspiration in spell work. But anything can be used for divination, so I’m sure with the right client you could make these work! 😊
