If you want to redo Gordon you could do what you did with bear and Oliver and use a model of a raven A2 as a base though it may look slightly jarring next to the somewhat simplistic look of the models for the other main cast.

There is no need to be such a purist, there is nothing stopping you from just not watching his videos if you are so annoyed about how he portrays his idea of the series. Like I said before the railway series does not have to exist in the timeline of Thomas.

@@ExtraEngine1 ok you need the chill out, I’m not a purist (otherwise I could be complaining about everything BMP has done or if you look at my YT I would’ve been sticking to canon instead of say having Henry as a Royal Scot.: if I was, wouldn’t I have Thomas as E2? (Even I don’t) what about Henry? I don’t have him a Black 5. I don’t see how I’m a purist, I don’t even call myself that, since I’m not that arrogant. Don’t forget, I also praised his ideal Gordon publicly and even went as far to say his backstory for him is interesting. Not only that but I’ve never said “NO! Gordon’s an A0.” Or some shit like that. Just because I disagree with somethings with him, doesn’t mean I’m a purist since i also like his Ideal Thomas, Edward, Henry even bloody James (minus the yellow buffer beam and side plates which is something I can disagree with). Plus I enjoy his videos, because of the ideas of alternate basis’ and different backstories while writing the characters like they were (albeit with his own additions). Ok maybe fucked wasn’t the right word. Perhaps. Odd is. I don’t mean to come off as a purist, I’m just stating what I disagree with (then again I should’ve probably think about my words first), the timeline is just one, i either disagree or am on and off with. Since the idea of the NWR (or I guess the Fat Controller’s Railway) being formed after Topham purchased the railway from BR sounds very interesting yet very mind boggling. As I’m typing this I’m starting to like his ideal NWR being formed after Topham purchased the railway from BR, since I always wondered… what if the NWR was formed as a heritage railway on Sodor.

@@ScorchZaneTrains Sorry for being a bit harsh I just think that it’s kinda ridiculous that that railway series exists within the railway series, it just doesn’t make a lot of sense. A lot of people seem to be confused when badmanoredproductions had his version of Thomas built after the railway series started and the answer is simple: The RWS doesn’t exist in his au. It’s called an “alternate universe “ for a reason and that reason being that it differs from the source material and so certain events and things like that happened differently and/or took place in different years. His version of the timeline does not have to match that of the railway series.

@@ExtraEngine1 it’s ok and I agree, it’s his AU it’s up to him, plus I’m starting to light up to his idea of the NWR being formed after Topham purchased it from BR since the idea sounds interesting. As for the whole purist part, one thing I can say about it, is being a purist (about Thomas or anythin) that bashes on AUs that are still similar but only a bit different, from what the source material is, isn’t always a nice sweet piece of candy. It can harzardous and very damaging (to the purist it self and maybe even people they are commenting or surrounding with) especially if they commenting things of how “Thomas being built in 1942 takes away his origins of being lost in war in WW1”, or how “you making Henry a gresley B17 to fix a problem that isn’t even existent”. This is not only self destructive but also makes the purist not happy at all, and very negative. That’s why i don’t act or even go around being like a “purist” (those extreme anyway) because I want to be happy, and positive, and that’s how TTTE should always be; happy. Because i rather be happy and calm, then rage on how that somebody changed something in their AU.
