Fun fact, they were going to put a Captain America cameo in the Normandy beach scene, but since Captain America: The First Avenger was in very early stages of production, they couldn't get the rights to him in time and some at Marvel and Fox both said they thought it may be confusing is Cap got a movie soon after this came out. (Also some people involved at the time thought if Fox got the rights to him for the cameo they'd fight to keep him and Marvel wouldn't risk that)

Sabertooth possibly gone through the second mutation (it happened with Logan in comics when his adamantuim skeleton was delated) that's why he is so animalistic and insensible but he remembers part of his life because he took Logan's dog tags.

@@Сайтамен No, Sabertooth is his brother in original Earth 10005. New Wolverine and that Sabertooth are variants of original characters from 10005 which means they have the same backstory. Logan didn't react to the fact that Wade called Sabertooth his brother which means he lost his memory after Striker shot him in the head with an adamantium bullet.

Logan being his gruffy self but then we see how his girl has him wrapped around her little finger. 11:57 time to get hit in the feels, big time. Poor Logan. 13:26 Logan holding the body of a loved one in his arms all over again, howling in agony - this is starting to feel like a theme for him. 17:30 no matter how many times you see it, this scene always makes you uncomfortable, all those needles injecting incredibly hot liquid metal into his bones. 19:38 excellent wordplay, Magy! So proud of you! 20:09 drink some water, Magy, you're being extra thirsty 😂 24:18 Logan with his freudian slips, only annoying poor Fred 😂 27:30 it's a shame we didn't get to see Taylor Kitsch in Gambit's role more. He's also been the main character in "John Carter" - a crazy interesting movie that sadly got killed by shitty marketing. 32:45 that was not a pretty reveal and Stryker warned him earlier that he wouldn't like what he'll discover. 38:44 classic siblings squabble 41:54 that's a fitting punishment for Stryker. This may not have been the best X-Men movie but Stryker made for one nasty villain. Thank you for the entertaining commentary and the beautiful reaction ❤

Maybe this is common knowledge and I'm just fan-splaining here, but The Three Mile Island accident was an actual incident in 1979. It was a technical failure at a nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania. They used it the same way they used the Cuban Missile Crisis in the story in First Class. A little revisionist history to give the mutant factor of this world some historical significance.

Unfortunately at the time this movie came out it was horribly received by critics. And apparently the reason why the movie was received terribly was because of the troubled production. The screenplay was incomplete, the director of the film and the executives of 20th Century Fox had conflicts over the direction of the film, an unfinished version of the film was leaked, & the production & post-production was troubled due to the weather of the locations they were shooting & Wolverine himself Hugh Jackman had other commitments despite also being credited as a producer of the film. So yeah, I felt reading all this that this movie could’ve been much better.

Hey, Magy and Laura. Now I know that "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was probably the least movie of the X-Men franchise as a prequel. But I really enjoyed it. I thought it was so entertaining. The action scenes were exciting, the effects looks okay, especially Logan's claws. I also thought Logan was an incredibly badass. Even Victor Creed was a great villain. In that time Fox was leading by Tom Rothman, the guy who doesn't belive on the Titanic proyect, cutting budget to that movie, and the same happen with Avatar, both from James Cameron. I don't know if you've heard about X-Men '97, but you really gotta see it. It kind of helps if you watch the 90s animated X-Men series considering it's a modern continuation of it, but I don't think it's absolutely mandatory. I went straight in not remembering much about the series and I was fine. The whole series is on Disney+. What they did with '97 is unbelievable. I think it changes the way people will think of animated shows.

People hate this movie for dumb reasons. They complained about how Deadpool was "messed up" or "not comic accurate". However, he wasn't messed up or inaccurate at all. He was similar to his original appearance before being changed to mouthy version everyone loves. The only issue with this movie is that they completely wasted one of the best X-Men characters, Gambit, and never brought him into any other movies.

Trust me, Deadpool was never the problem. This movie even could have worked with that version of Deadpool. The problem was, basically everything. Bad effects, bad action scenes, mediocre script and and insult of a Wolverine origin. No violence at all, they even didn't tried to push a little the PG-13 (unlike X-Men 2, The Wolverine, DOFP or the Weapon X scene from Apocalypse). The only drop of blood was from his girlfrield and turned out to be fake. The movie felt cheap, like Daredevil or Elektra, Fantastic Four, Catwoman, etc. The adamantium injection arc was awful (X2 did it miles better). It featured no Weapon X arc, now that is an insult to Wolverine's lore. His amnesia being a product of an adamantium bullet instead of the Weapon X program? Yikes! The Team X could have been epic, but it was just one scene with zero impact. This movie had some much potential, but ended up a mess with cameos that never had any to do with Logan's origin, such as Gambit, Cyclops, Blob, (cool characters wasted in the wrong movie). Thanks god later we got The Wolverine and Logan, which are insanely superior films than this one. Again, I didn't talk about Deadpool, because for me, that wasn't even a problem but the rest of the movie. Actually this movie's videogame was everything it should have been, and yes, it featured Barakapool, so that was never the problem. The only good thing I can think about this movie is Lieb Schreiber's performance, only his acting and charisma, because his character felt also so wasted (brother's Wolverine? LOl!).
