Felix Baumgartner, did NOT 'jump from space' - are you actually that gullible to think that he did? LOL. He skydived from an altitude of 39 km (24 miles) which is from the layer of the atmosphere known as the stratosphere.

Pretty cool, but it was a bit like amateur hour! It was like he was reading the "How to Parachute from Helium Balloons" instructions for the first time.

Honestly, the level of incompetence from David really surprised me. I mean, I would expect a rank amateur with nothing but a brief and a quick dress rehearsal an hour beforehand to be about on par with what I saw. The way he acted like his experience and decisions were superior to the professionals on the ground handling his lousy ass really put it all over the top. At this point I'm not sure if he's brave but inexperienced, stupid and foolish, or if he just put the whole "idiot over his head" act on for some unknown reason.

US military researchers did a recent examination of parachute calamities. Causes, preventions etc. But the real findings was something than were not expecting. And that's the degree of traumatic damage inflicted on the human body in elevated impacts was greatly under estimated. And that a terminal fall from elevation is a particularly hard way to die.
