Hey hey David! I once again scored a great deal at the Penguin Magic Open Box Auction (my last being The Mental Die, if you recall) - I managed to get the Viper wallet for $60 off the normal price. Way lower than even the lowest sale price I've ever seen (which is rare as it is). The reason I knew to get it in the first place was because I watched this episode a long while ago. If you wanna do an honest review, do it on Avi Yap's Monarch. The gimmick is absolutely atrocious. I returned it.

Bonus effect as an "Easter Egg"-type addition to the explanation of the various effects included with the product ???? Take the time to find this effect. While I was annoyed with the fact that my $150.00 purchase did not include the folded card peek explanation or the "Easter Egg"-type demo/explanation, I soon got over it. The SECRET effect is very well done and could also add a bit of humor to your peek wallet routine. Easter egg does not require great code breaking skills. Set up is at the bottom of the effects page and the solution is included in the strange Guy Fawkes trailer for the wallet. Enjoy! Highly recommend the Viper Wallet.

I got this wallet very nicely made of excellent quality, but can anyone tell me why they cut the half-moon into the wallet? I feel it adds nothing and is a little suspicious; all you need is the SUC. That's it., That peek is suitable for all peeks. The added peek part, in my opinion, is unnecessary and adds extra bulk. I do like the fact it has a zip inside; as far as I can tell (apart from the larger wallets), it is the only compact SUC that has a zip, so a no palm CTW inside the zip compartment and the peek goes inside a zip. Please let me know if you know of a compact SUC wallet with a zip pocket. If this is the only one, I would remove the extra peek bit if I could.

Okay so there's a few key points David did not mention that I feel are very important for example the wallet has an SUC case function, you can secretly load or steal cards, billets etc. You can also put in a business card or billet in folded and still get a peek without having to re-open wallet. You can have a spectator draw on a business card and you put business card in wallet and you can have spectator hold on to wallet while you make your prediction. This is an excellent wallet that has multifunctions!
@magicorthodoxy5 жыл бұрын
LOL mention the folded card peek at 3:31, I mention the card to wallet option at 5:16 and I mention you can get the peek and lay it in the spectator's hand at 4:25
@jclopez123535 жыл бұрын
@@magicorthodoxy Oh, ok you well you didnt mention the folded peek but you did put in text on screen. But you didnt mention load and steal (SUC FUNCTION) typically a card to wallet doesnt have a steal function. Theres a huge difference between a card to wallet than a wallet that has an SUC function! Alot more you can do with an SUC function. The reason i bring this up is thats what sealed the deal for me. No need to get mad David. Just wanted viewers to know because at $140 I believe its worth it because of all these functions.

@magicorthodoxy I am considering getting Viper wallet as it does both card to wallet and peek. I already have parapad and real man wallet to do both the effect. How hard is in the viper wallet to load the card in the wallet as compared to real mans wallet. What do you recommend, should I buy the Viper wallet?
@magicorthodoxy4 жыл бұрын
Viper is a "sight unseen case" wallet, lining up the card to wallet is tricky as it's not a full size wallet. But David Regal has a wallet coming out soon called the COP wallet. (if you can palm off, or do a cop) that is a super easy load. Plus, he doesn't advertise it as such, but I suppose it could work in reverse to get a peek - on thing - the wallet is not examinable and can't be shown from the "dirty side" kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5-lf5mjn5aUms0

I hope the Peek Note Wallet. Currently using it as my every day carry but I've got to be honest with you, it doesn't really fit many credit cards inside it comfortably. The peek window is very clear and big, but you'll need to get the timing of it right for it to work. I still prefer the Stealth Assassin wallet over it to be honest.

Awesome review as always! I try to catch every one although sometimes they slip by me... I did catch the one you did about your top favorite peek wallets, where this one topped the lot and you mentioned John Cornelius' Thought Transmitter. Used the original one at gigs all over town and it never failed to get strong reactions and a local news spot or two! As justification for getting the peek I would use a rubber band wrapped around the wallet, thus "sealing" the original inside the wallet! I think you said the peek could be wonky at times and I totally agree!! that is of course if you're speaking about the peek itself and not the placement of the information to be garnered. If it's the former, he's got a new version that completely alleviates the backward thinking that the 1st version had... 🥁!! If it's the latter, I just drew a crystal ball in the center of the post-it pad assuring a perfect hit every time! But I digress, the more I hear you talk about the viper wallet, the more I want it! maybe I'll get it and Frankenstein it and put in OTL principal inside the wallet similar to the Stockholder from Magic Makers! Thanks again for all your inspiration and honesty! Brian.
