I have the exposure 6 pack on reflex mode and the reason I went for that over the magicshine 12000 is because of the the internal battery

Having the battery inside the light does offer some advantages for sure. I'm glad Magicshine offers some of their lights with that option. For the helmet light, I hate having a wire run down my back an into a battery in my back pack.

I have one for fatbike night riding. It is so bright I helmet lamp is not needed

So crazy you said that! Last ride I was on I was wondering if a headlamp was needed anymore. Not only is this light crazy bright but the coverage is insane!
