Welcome to The Fab Forums. My name is Kyle Voss and I produce Custom Motorsports Fabrication content of all forms for you. Carbon Fiber, TIG Welding, Metal Shaping, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Custom Choppers, and everything in between. I work hard to bring you new content on a weekly basis.
Here are some of the builds you can find on this channel.
I have built several Chevy trucks on this channel. The first was my 1964 C10 named Crown Spoyal and the most recent C10 truck project was the 1969 I currently have named the Black Pearl.
I am also finishing up a custom twin turbo Ford Mustang build I call the Gray Goose. It’s a 400 cubic inch Windsor style engine with twin 70mm turbos. I am hoping to make around the 1000 horse power mark to the tires on this particular build.
Last but not least is the one off custom hot rod build called the Bibbster. This is what I call a modern day hot rod. It’s made from an old Ford Mustang foxbody, but made to look like an old school open wheeled hot rod.
I also feature other fabricators and shops like Cutworm Specialties hand formed aluminum wide body kit for a BMW e46. Jeb Greenstone has also built a twin turbo, coyote powered model A style hot rod from scratch, and is currently building a Toyota TE72 wagon drift car powered by a 1UZ Lexus v8. Jeb’s custom fabrication skills are fun to watch and always make for good videos.
Check out my playlist to see some or all of these builds.

In Italy, i got this price: 3.8 k euros vat included, bare unit (no torch, or earth), with footpedal, no liquid cooling module. It's not too bad, since I have the mw2200 at work and theese machines are Just flawless, but I Hope i can get the price lowered a bit (my goal would be 3.5k), anyway IMO they worth the price, since theese units work great, especially in the ac side, tbh no comparison in terms of quality with Miller, Lincoln and so on (and i don't Say It because I want to promote an Austria brand... @@weldingjunkie the htp Is a stel rebranded, of you live in usa Is a great machine for a great price; but if you have to buy It in Europe branded as stel, Is not the way to go, since the stel costs 2.8 k euros (bare unit, without cables and so on), while the fronius costs around 3.3k euros (bare unit); for 400 euros difference, I'm Sorry for the stel (wich Is an italian brand, and I'm from Italy), but there's Just no comparison beetween the 2 units.. Oh forgot to Say I have a stel 20i cel (or whatever Is called), it's a nice machine, I bought directly from a stel employee and as he said stel (so htp) are Just designed and assembled in my country, but they are produced in China.. nothing wrong with that, unless you want me to pay 3k euro for a chinese welding machine.
@raulduke85
@raulduke85 5 жыл бұрын
@@weldingjunkie man I have been to Verona where the stel Is produced, it's only 250 km to my home: they assemble there, many parts are made in china, most of the electronic parts, like It or not. I get my prices from Google and stel distributors in Italy. You should check for your own, probably 2200 euro Is the price of the DC (only) TIG unit; Just consider the fact that back in 2015, when i bought the 201 cel It was listed for 900 € + vat (so around 1200 euros), ofc bare unit. Stel is expensive here, believe It or not and electronic boards are designed in Italy, but manifactured in China: made in Italy doesn't mean fully manifactured in Italy, according to our laws it's enough to assemble, or to Just finish the production process in out country to Mark the item as "made in Italy". Same as stel, even if they produce worse machine, Is telwin brand. I know very well what i talk about and 2200 € maybe Is a discounted price without vat, since vat Is 22% here. The lowest price you can find on net, vat included Is 2850 and tbh doesn't worth It.
@raulduke85
@raulduke85 5 жыл бұрын
@@weldingjunkie Who gave me those prices? Almac compressori aria, saldatrici, gruppi elettrogeni s.a.s. in Varese. Then i found similar prices on google, for example here www.bilioshop.com/shop/saldatrici-tig/393-stel-tig-dp-221hpa-ac-dc.html (Now they lowered price by 100 euros since last time i checked) Or here, uk store stel-welding.co.uk/product/tig-dp-221-hpa-ac-dc-inverter-dual-230v-110v-1-phase/ Or here another italian store www.berardomacchine.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=4070 Is It enough? While i looked on eBay for the Seller you said, and know what? No matching found; then i looked for an auction for a stel 221 hPa AC/DC and know what? No results. Put a link if you have, then I'll see. As i said, the parts that you Say, that May Be come from china are "Just" the main boards and I know for sure, possibly not every model, but most of their models. The fact you see "made in italy" stamped means nothing, even einhell Is sold as "made in Germany" lmao. Personally i don't care about your italian roots, it's not that you come in Italy 2 weeks per year and you think to know everything about Italy: I LIVE in Italy, since I was Born, 34 years ago; I'm a welder since I was 18; it's 5 years I work only on aluminum and here for AC applications you find fronius and kemppi everywhere: it's not a random thing. You can be a youtuber, you can weld your stuffs in your shed/garage or whatever you call It, I don't disrespect you guys, Who weld for enterteinment since 2/3 years; try Just to not disrespect the thoughts of people Who do this job for real and maybe have a longer experience. The only Place I found an AC/DC TIG branded stel here was in a didattic structure (italian welding school/italian welding machine) and stop; stel Is mostly used for mig and MMA machines here. If you talk to any professional welder in italy, nobody Will ever name you the stel as a good TIG welder for aluminium applications. And I'm Sorry to tell you that if you really can't see the difference between an htp and a fronius, it's your problem, not a problem of the machine. It's enough to Say that fronius in Italy Is said to be the "Ferrari" of the welding machines; but you know what? Hey probably the 99% of the italian welders are idiots, while you understood everything in your Little workshop; then surely I really Need to lie about the stel quotation that that motherfucker did to me, just because, being italian, I love people from Austria and I really want to promote their business, as all the italian guys do.

'Junkie, guess it comes down to your skill level* and what you will be using the machine for - for some, there may be no benefit but for others it could pay for itself in a few days or weeks because there is a specific feature, or two, that makes what they are doing easier, faster or even making something very difficult possible. Can't wait for the chap do do some examples of using the machine rather than just talking it up as there seems to be quite a lot of 'product placement' in the background... that said, I have only ever seen positive things said by people using the machines and one would definitely be on my shopping list, funds allowing. *For some of us more features, the more ways we can f*** up - or merely waste time and material playing around trying to get the 'right' settings.

GordoWG1 WG1 agreed!! On all of it. I brought the HTP Invertig 221 into it because it has asymmetric ac on it, I didn’t see this on the fronius nor did I see that it has hybrid ac. He said he beats the HTP so I’m trying to find out where is it better. The Invertig 221 is a beast and I’m looking to buy another saw this video. Justin uses the 221 as well
@gordowg1wg145
@gordowg1wg145 6 жыл бұрын
That was mentioned, with detail, from 1:30 - if I understand your question correctly, I believe what you refer to as 'asymmetric' is the same as what they refer to as 'offset', with time and current offsets(?), and what you call 'hybrid' they call 'waveform ...' with different options for the positive and negative sides - 'course I could be quite wrong, wouldn't be the first time (or twentieth or ...). I've noticed, with quite a lot of things, each side of the Atlantic sometimes have different words, or terms, for the same thing - the problem is really where the same word means quite different things... one of the classic ones is "fanny", which could get you quite the wrong sort of attention in the UK ;-)

It really is ahead(correction miller 100%@175 60%@210 fronius 100%@165 60%@195 35%@230) I also think the 230 amp is a better sweet spot. The dynasty 280 is a bit more than i would ever need and the 210 is borderline. I currently have an everlast 250ex and 220 is the most i usually will need. When you get into pulse features i could maybe see using 280. But yeah, the fronius has everything i want at a competitive price. I just wish they had a bit more representation.
