Hi. It is not necessary. I wanted to achieve the effect of brushed wood.If you like it, leave it like that, but it should be dry and covered with wood oil or varnish.

Yes, these bulbs are not very powerful. It's safe. Use a low-power bulb.

Hi. There are special chemicals for deworming wood. I did this before oiling the wood.

looks good, but I'm concerned about the metal wire at the switch where the cables are attached very badly. At 7:52 - 8:04 you can see the exposed inner cables left and right side of the switch which means, there's no working strain/cable relief. Just a matter of time until the live conductor is exposed and the florist's wire may get live as well.
