We recently purchased a new MagiCycle DEER And we really do appreciate the softness on our back with regards to it being a softail with rear suspension. The power is smooth and we feel like you do in your assessment of the bike that it is truly a great ride. We wish it was a couple hundred to $300 less but we feel comfortable with our purchase. My wife also has an ocelot pro and we love both bikes. I am 5 foot eight and while it is markedly larger it is still easier to handle than HEY BIKE Brawn

I purchased the step-thru Deer in yellow. I really like the bike and it’s capabilities. I have a Versa- haul bike carrier with a ramp to haul it and the weight is not a problem at all. I think it is one of the best bikes out there for the price.

OK it appears solid build, but that price tag of 2400.00 and only coming with a 20 AMP battery, (that's not good enough compared to the value leaders right now, who offer 1K motors and 60 AMP battery's for under 2K right now on sale you could get this for 1800.00 and with the money saved, just upgrade the tires and suspension and still come out way ahead on battery range and power:

Magicycle has not helped resolve a problem. I have tried to get a person for 2 full days no one has responded with help they sent a picture of thumb control power button. Iii

Magicycle sent the display everything worked fine. This bike has a great feel. I took out to a wash in the dessert soft sand it feels so much better than my rad. I could not find anything wrong with the bike not a scratch. The Torque is great . One complaint seat post too short.

How is even rideable without a torque sensor? So in order to get up a hill you need to get going at speed? It doesn't deliver power in relation to your pedal input?

@@frankbaker8370 How is it in the woods up hills? My 750 rear hub drive bike is a few years older, same cadence sensor...and it struggles up hills and the motor cuts out

@Dixie Normis hi Dixie I have not yet tried hard stuff. I have been climbing more long climb slow grade. I have had two others including Rad Rover I still have it has more torque than Rover . More volts on battery its lighter I think easier to handle in soft sand. Frank

Unfortunately, with the way things are going you'll probably be seeing a lot of new ebikes over $2000.

@@ElectricRidesUT Yes, but some ebikes are worth the price, the Magicycle Deer is just not one of them. You can't have just a cadence sensor on a 95 pound ebike and expect to get any good use out of it, especially off road

@@dixienormis3614 I purchased the Deer and took it on some really tough trails. And it was fine, yes its heavy but has a lot of power. I'm happy I did get it at $2,400 I think it's up to you if you want a 2 year warranty and exceptional construction. It is very well built..
