Romain Boulay is a beautiful and incredibly talented dancer from Paris. Whether he's on stage or on the dance floor, he's always a joy to watch. I don't know how many years we've known each other and how many dances we've shared but this was one of the first videos we've ever got dancing together. It's a good representation of all of our dances: fun, musical, creative, and full of smiles!

We were lucky to be dancing to Tito Rodriguez Jr and his band live on Sunday night at the BIG Salsa Festival NY. It was a great night of dancing, over all.

I feel that the rhythm lays out the foundation and you build on it. For la música tropical, I let the rhythm and percussion lead me, but it is on me to interpret it. This easy alone, but has to be necessarily compromised or "negotiated" with a partner.
