Absolutely loved making these at Magnabend for Allen and Geoff in the 90s the best bosses I have ever encountered. And to answer previous messages in this section it's pretty hard to get body parts under anything because you have to have one hand on the handle and the other on the buttons. Same with foot control. The only way you'll lose a finger is if you get someone else to start it when you have the desired body part under the camp bar 🤣🤣🤣

On a traditional pan brake, you can control the radius on bends (within reason), by positioning the clamping fingers a distance (equal to the desired external radius) from the folding arm, when the folding arm is at right angles to the clamping surface. This is done with a screw adjustment. Is that possible on a Magnabend? We have to set a .020" inside radius on .024" low carbon steel (.044 outside radius).

Be careful, I lost the top off my left thump with one of these. All was turn the power off before removing the clamp-bar

Why did you have your fingers on the clamp bar there's no need if you have the adjusters set correctly. Hope you're thumb is OK now 😢
