This is not accurate. When a horse has a twist it is a colic emergency it doesn’t just untwist with electromagnetic waves. It means the actual intestine has twisted and has cut off circulation to that section of intestine causing a complete blockage. In other colics It’s not about getting the stomach moving it’s about getting the intestines moving. There are many types of colic from gas to impaction to twisting…Anyway, they should probably have a better understanding before they teach this stuff on the news. If you have a twisted intestine in a horse you don’t want to wait and try PEMF, it is an absolute medical emergency. A twisted intestine is a death sentence without intervention, and chances are if your horse has a twisted intestine it’s not going to stand there for PEMF as it will be in excruciating pain.

I am a veterinarian. Colic is a generic term basically for intestinal pain/ discomfort. It may be caused by a gas bubble, an obstruction or a twist of the intestines. Some of these are life threatening, others are not. Symptoms are similar in the early stage for each cause. I can think of no way that PEMF treatment can untwist a piece of intestine. The statements made in this video are absurd. She obviously needs some education on disease pathologies before making wildly ridiculous claims. But it would sell a lot of machines, wouldn't it ?
