If you found a World War II shell in California, THAT would be random....lol...said with respect, brother. I lived in Belgium for a decade and found WW 1 and 2 items buried throughout my property... there are tons of relics waiting to be found all over the BeNeLux region..... Cheers.

Yes Yes YES... Congratulations on the baby Diamond Goldie....👍. Question:.... how do you attach the magnets on the poles ? How do they stay on when lifting things? How do you keep them from staying with the found object without them coming off the pole?... I can't imagine any epoxy or glue being stronger than the magnet ...but then again I don't really know much about adhesive liquid or magnets.... I really am into this, and I would love to have a pole that worked like yours do...... Any sort of information on this would be awesome from anybody who knows.....

Hi, Leigh and Nicky. Teaming up with Wim and Hannie was a good idea. Wim's artillery shell find was so unexpected (maybe there are more??). No big safes could be a blessing in disguise, meaning no exhausted muscles this time around. Lots of trash removed, though. Hey Nicky, Leigh, Wim & Hanny ✨ This adventure had everything, and for our entertainment Nicky captured everything to perfection ! Only this week I commented on Wim's channel how I first remember seeing him canal diving under a sea of green algae as his last adventure and now this saw him diving beneath the surface. I just don't know where to start on such a fun filled adventure, for me the artillery shell was a superb find, saving the fish & crayfish/lobsters another, your combined excitement when a safe is captured, and the crazy laughter when bike wheels and a bicycle emerge from the depths .......those things will never stop being found, even in the middle of nowhere. You have to get Hanny in a wetsuit, he is simply missing out on the the mud and micro-organisms swimming in the water.......not to mention the cow dung washed in it 🤢 Babies names are never easy, unless you are already decided. When my two were born we had both boys and girls names ready. (including middle names)......both were girls so we gave them names of Greek origin. For a girl I like Lydia, Alexandra, Sophia, Elliana, Eleni, Thea, Maia & Ellie....Boys Alexander, Nico, Lukas, Xander & Kori Just have fun looking at names, one or two will jump out, and you will both know it's right for the baby. My Grandparents went home to Holland in 1956. They immigrated to the USA in the early 1920's as newlyweds with a baby boy, by 1956 they had 11 children and were successful Dairy farmers. They bought a new 1956 American car, drove across the United States from California to New York and put it on a ship to Holland. Their family in Holland had suffered under the Nazi occupation during WW2. Grandpa filled that car full of things the family couldn't get, like nice wool for men's suits and many things requested from family members. When they left Holland as young people with a dream, they were disowned and told they wouldn't make it in a foreign country, so that big car full of gifts was proof that they were wealthy Americans. They brought home several of those German shells, that an Uncle hammered into beautiful vases. I have one, and love it. They drove that big car all over Holland and then put it back on a ship to New York, this time seeing the Statue of Liberty knowing what they faced ahead. Home.....

To open the safes and money boxes use an angle grinder for around $30 and a 16th“ thick by 4 inch or 6 inch cut off wheel. if you use a 6 inch blade be careful not to stick your right thumb nail into the blade it’s really easy to do. These blades are made of grinding grit. They’re not metal blades with teeth like a sawblade. They are more like a really thin concrete blade, but made for cutting metal, I have cut 1 inch steel with them. It just takes time and a few cut off wheel.

that shell is from a break in. you can see the 3 filt stickers underneath it that is put on to not scratch the floor or whatever it stood on. pretty sure it have been converted into a lamp at some point. the 3 holes in the side looks like its where the cable was going in.
