After seeing a fake magnet / magnetic 'free energy' video, I was asked to try and also make a crude version of magnets on a disc and see if there is any truth to the theory.
I have an inkling that unless you are someone like Nikola Tesla, then its going to be quite a challenge for someone to actually make this a reality!

The magnet wheel 🛞 should produce just enough ⚡ electrical juice with the 90% spin and then turned on or off the STATIONARY MAGNET 🧲... Your diagrams drawn on the disc were more likely to have success. Notice your magnet spots you marked with dark tape were angled keeping the opposing pole at the opposite end of each magnet away from your target zone of ideal magnetic propulsion. But when you mounted the magnets you put them all in line with the edge which unfortunately allows the opposite pole (magnetic field) to come in contact with your target zone, causing magnetic braking, robbing you of the propulsion you have between your bigger drive magnet and your smaller repeller magnets. Do you see what I mean.? Put them all at angles keeping the opposing force (attractive force) further in and away. Follow your own example of the dark tape marks on your disc.

There is one adjustment that I'd love to see. Remove the magnet on the pedestal, and compare the spin time. That would at least give you a control to see whether the magnets are affecting the rotation. Also, you might try wrapping a string around the shaft connected to a weight through a pulley so you can give every configuration exactly the same amount of energy when you spin it up. If you come up with ANY configuration that is better than free spin with no fixed magnet you will have my attention!

The positioning of the magnets on the spinning wheel will make a big difference as does your size and dimension of your magnetic propeller. Having that single force more focused would provide the same stream like influence of flowing water

Ie not parallel to the circular edge but rather angled to recieve the directed blow from the single opposing force which needs repositioned also. Might even look into an over tube wrap of magnetic blocking material to focus the magnetic wave.

One problem is the angle of the magnets on your wheel., they need to be more perpendicular to your stationary magnet. The second problem you have is that you need a “shield” on your stationary magnet ( like the ones they use on audio speakers) to dampen the field around the sides of the stationary magnet. This concept will work and yes you are on the verge of getting it right. Very honest and well made video. Thanks for sharing your experiment.

You might try 2 or 3 large repelling magnets and offset them just enough so that when one wants to pull on the wheel the other one will start pushing then add a 3rd to go just about 1/8 behind where the other magnet begins to push. That way there is always one or 2 pushing and over taking the ones pulling.

Rig the main sending magnet(left) on a gear system so it moves away and back towards the wheels at time where it is only present when opposing a passing magnet on the wheel. This is easier if you only have one magnet on the wheel. This way it misses a magnet when attracted and then realigns just as the opposing are of the magnet on the wheel passes by. Kind of like kicking off the ground while on a scooter. Make contact for a moment of thrust, then back away, then again at the precise moment best for thrust(opposing magnetic force).

Turn the system 90⁰ and use a circumferential magnetic bearing system as opposed to mechanical bearings. Use permanent magnets throughout the rig. If youre able to use a halbach arrangement while focusing on the negative charged pole for the rotor magnets, perhaps it may yield better results? Perhaps even using a small halbach array focusing on a negative charged pile for the propulsion magnet? (Edit) Also, perhaps instead of using a physical stabilizer as most magnetic bearing systems use, you could incorporate the same magnetically repulsive properties to keep the rotor stable within the magnetic bearing system.

One who knows nature and the universe geometry can unlock this kind of mechanical things that we seem hard to solve. By seeing this you are missing out on using gravity mechanism and the conical spiral mechanism. The gravitational push that made the magnets to rotate was indeed you but the loop that will make the gravitational push constantly rotating will be the conical spiral mechanism. Of course in gravity what goes up must eventually come down but when the conical spiral mechanism is added it will seem that what goes up keeps coming down, it repeats the process.

The thing to understand about magnetic fields is you can't cut off part of them. You can guide the field, spread it out, or concentrate it, but it will maintain the same characteristics. In the common visualization of "lines" used to understand the spatial field distribution, a particular line will always be a continuous loop through the magnet through the space around it. All you can do is guide the loop with various materials or other fields.
@DL-kc8fc
@DL-kc8fc Жыл бұрын
Cannot. The magnetic field must always be closed in order to show a seeming resistance as a "force". Ergo, this "force" only manifests if there is a closed magnetic field. If there was a mythical mono-polar magnet, it would be possible, even if it would not be clear what it closed with its magnetic field. Fortunately, monopolar magnet does not exist despite the wishes of fantasts. But there is an alternative - a static electric field that actually creates such monopoles against a grounded counterpart. It would be good to examine electrostatic motors. Many people have already verified the malfunction of the magnetic engines ála Perpetuum Mobile, both scientists and fools.

I've fallen down this rabbit hole myself. I finally came the realization that a force is not energy. It seems so much like it, especially as it's a real thing despite us not being able to see it or feel it without holding a magnet or material that interacts with a magnet. The realization I finally came to was that energy is simply a change in state. Magnetic fields are constants, not changing, like Earth's gravity. When you spin the wheel, you introduce kinetic force into the equation. It may seem like when it takes off, that you aren't putting an equal force in, but you are forgetting the initial potential energy you put into the system when placing the wheel in position. With just one or a few magnets, it probably wasn't any, as you likely kept the magnets far from each other initially. So, you had to fight the magnet hard to position it at the point it would repel. When the wheel was full of magnets though, you couldn't keep the magnets separated, so it probably took a lot more work getting the wheel into position. That extra effort was building up quite a bit of potential energy into the system. What your really doing is making a low friction bearing, but there are opposing forces that still fight the turning. Plus, as no real energy is being added, eventually friction will deplete what was. You may improve things more if you alter the angle of the magnets so only the repelling pole is facing out. It will change the bumpiness of the fields. Still won't make it turn for forever, but may turn it longer.

Nicely made video. The task you are up against is mechanically analogous to trying to get a low-friction cart to coast more laps around a continuous circuit of track by putting various hills in parts of the track. But because local gravity is spatially simpler than the fields around a little magnet, not many people see the cart lapping a hilly loop of track as an interesting problem - it's easy to see that no arrangement of hills can power the cart or even reduce average drag per lap. The same principle is true for the magnet wheel. Permanent magnets don't recieve energy from anywhere, so they have none to pass on. For the same reason, no arrangement of permanent magnets can reduce net drag on the wheel (except for magnetic bearings of course).

you need to use a paramagnetic modulator between the stationary magnet and the magnets on the disc. for instance aluminum sheet or bolts spaced slightly out of sync with the disc magnets to over-balance it etc, this prevents magnetic locking. another tip: use a slightly off-centred disc axis and use a strong spring attached to the stationary magnet, why? the magic is in over-balancing, your current setup is balanced, so wont work and this is where most citizen scientists trip up, so remember this golden rule = over-balancing. also having the disc flat/horizontal isnt taking advantage of gravity either!

Have you try it with a second or a 4th magnet? At the point where it stops make on the oposite side a magnet what push it forward. or as i sayed even a 3rd and 4th...also you could use a material beside the magnet what blocks the magnet field. If you try that please send me a link i would like to know.

Well thought out, but this too will fail. Any open magnetic system that doesn't employ some type of shielding will always have a net force of zero. Think about when you bring like poles near each other. They repel when directly opposed to each other, but the slightest movement towards a side and they will attract. So as your positive magnet is passing by other positive poles you will get slight attraction - repulsion - slight attraction. The flaw in most magnet motor systems is using magnet on magnet drive systems. I am currently building a magnet motor that utilizes the attractive forces between permanent magnets and steel, and by doing so, eliminating the usual balance of forces and working only with attraction. I'll post a video once it's built.

It's like getting two hydrogen atoms to fuse together but with the magnets you have to spin it so fast that it takes off on its own . If you don't spin it fast enough at the beginning it won't work.

I've been playing with a similar idea in my head for years but lack the materials to build it. If you turn the disc vertical and use only one magnet on the disc it would use gravity to pull it down and as it is pulled down with gravity it charges a capacitor that will discharge into a stationary magnet repelling the disc magnet when it reaches the apex of it's return arc.

Nice video. Something I would like to try, is to place the magnets on the disc so that the opposing Force is pointed out and attracting force is pointed towards the center of the disc, creating a lesser magnetic field. I would like to build it, but you make the build look so easy and you have all the tools. I look forward to see if you will make this modification. It seems to me, either shielding the attractive Pole or lessening the magnetic field in relation to the opposing magnetic field will give it a more constant drive. Thank you.

There is no way to make permanent magnets drive something continuously. If our brains could visualize magnetic fields and accociated forces as easily as we can terrestrial gravity, this would be obvious to most people. 1) It would damatically violate laws of nature that have been tested and validated by countless people, countless times. 2) This specific idea has been tried countless ways and countless times by people who aren't willing to question their intuition and who have decided, conciously or not, to avoid actual physics.

But if the natural laws are wrong, why don't we see people correcting them? Where is the analytical rigor? Where are the revised physics? I've never seen coherent analysis by anyone, genuine or deceptive, who claims free energy or over unity. I only see endless demonstrations of machines that deal with the same intuative pitfalls, over and over. It's very clear to me that these people have never understood what energy is or how it is quantified (at least the people who seem sincere).

Understanding why a magnet engine can’t work is easy. You need to use a force from your hands in order to get a magnet closer to an other one. When you release the magnet, the same force is released and can do something like turning a disc. Friction and other forces is taking energy and you will not have the same force to get a magnet closer to the other one for the next movement. At the end the movement will stop by itself. Using a magnet is like using a spring or gravity, you can’t create energy, you need to add it at the beginning of the process :-)

I do not know any law of physics which make it impossible : Of course this would not be perpetual movement, because if it worked, it would end up ruining your magnet. But otherwise, It was proven that it would be impossible with central forces - however, magnetic forces are NO central forces, and therefore I personally have no idea if it can work or not... because first of all, this might only work in a very specific position both for the rotor and the stator magnets. I tried to 3D print magnet supports, but it's not easy to make them symmetrically ajustables. However, one thing I'm sure, is that to have it work work, one would need to reduce all the mechanical frictions and smooth as much as possible this locking effect. Therefor, one would need a larger number of magnets and have half or probably better : one third of the rotor/stator magnets being coprime with each other. eg : 12 vs 15 or even more.

Can you disable the same opposite dipoles of these magnetics from a particular position, because according to my observation from you video the magnetic spinning had enough energy to continue until it reach his same dipole, so maybe it would spin continuously if you disable the same dipoles of these magnetics. Because the spinning stopped when it reach his opposite dipole.

IMPORTANT: Try this out. I once had seen a paper that had information on how to build a FREE ENERGY/MOTOR GENERATOR. The motor/generator once started would keep running and you would get Free Over Unity Electrical Energy .The person had used Permanent Magnets and Electro Magnets with High Voltage Capacitors. With electro magnets and capacitors you can have a controlled magnetic field that stops the moment the capacitor is drained of its energy. With an all permanent magnet system you need to physically move one of the magnets away from the other or you get a clogging effect where motion of the rotor stops. By using electro magnets and capacitors or super capacitors you can have a controlled intermittent magnetic field. You can control the magnetic field with by an optical switch or better still with a solid state Hall Effect Sensor Switch. The electro magnet can be used as a generator to recharge the capacitor. You may need a diode to ensure the capacitors get the proper charging polarity. By switching a magnetic field on and off you can stop the clogging effect therefore the rotor can keep on turning and keep gaining momentum. I Reply
