That's pretty slick! I can see you levitating all kinds of things like pens, pencils, fancy chopsticks, etc.!

Very cool Jack! One could make one similar to a Harry Potter Wand with a dark stained wood / bark looking base. Hmm.... You always come up with creative ideas!
@umeshsanghvi2242 жыл бұрын
Yes. But in the Harry Potter Nimbus 200 the right end is very thin. So either they used magnets only at the left end or then a very thin magnet on the right. Any thoughts?

Nice. I'm working at some similar at the moment. But I'll use not a dowel instead of a tiny neon tube and add a kind of mini Teslacoil (SlayerExciter) in the base. So i get (hopefully) a levitating and lightning Neon tube with no visible connection.

Very nice build jack! Instead of a dowel with exposed magnets, you might bury the magnets at the correct position inside a piece of wood so they can't be seen when levitated, that would make it even more interesting. Just a thought.
@royreynolds1088 жыл бұрын
Make slots in the two pieces of wood, put the magnets in the slots, then put the two wood pieces together so the magnets are hidden. Now that would be cool. So what , let them guess.
@MRrwmac8 жыл бұрын
Jack Houweling Oh Ok. This one looks more fun anyway. Especially when it's spinning!
@bobparlevliet17768 жыл бұрын
If you placed 2 rows of 2 magnets on each end of the block, with a certain space in between, could you get the dowel to levitate without the piece of acrylic, i wonder?

Pretty rad, I've been thinking of doing some similar, except I wanted to hide the magnets in all the wood pieces, so it looks like the wood is floating by itself... I've been collecting microwave magnets for this purpose 🤓👍🏼
