Magnetic Standoffs for CO2 Laser Cutter

Made some Magnetic standoffs for our CO2 Laser Cutter to raise material further off of the bed for better airflow and less backside burning.

I had a local metalworker cut and bend one edge to the metal plate for use as my surface. It's 16 gauge steel.

Awesome idea!! What about warped material? How do you hold it down onto the spikes?

I created some tall 3D printed hold downs with magnets in the bottom to grab the material and hold it in place.

@@Novoworks they may be out. It’s a pretty standard part so I would expect someone else to have them.
