Very informative and a little gem for those of us that are nostalgic of the good old days....

Wonderful video Mike, really enjoyed hearing the history of these bikes. As a West Australian, riding from the mid 70's on, I can distinctly remember Stolarski's in Murray St, Perth. Took me until the early 90's however to discover the joys of Guzzi ownership!

Many years ago I received a phone call from my mother who told me that Ted Stolarski passed away. She hated motorcycles, but she felt that Ted really meant something to me. And I miss my 850 Le Mans III after nearly 40 years. It's probably out there somewhere. I have dreams of buying it back. I just need to find it!

do a reg or vin check, then approach the owner,

@@sicks6six That's impossible in my country, plus I don't have the VIN. I do remember my rego details from 1983 though :)

Ted’s legacy is being maintained by Mario of Thunderbikes in WA - wonderful to deal with and great overnight service.

the multi-component movement he talks about with rear wheels moving side to side, I'm not sure if it is my imagination but I find twin shock bikes less bendy than mono shock bikes, not sure if it's true but my mind says it is,
