In this week's episode, we have found a magnificent mansion completely left untouched. Featuring multiple busts and numerous antiques, this place was a true gem. We could not believe that electricity was still working, the clock was still ticking and even the telephone was still working. We took a look inside one of the most incredible abandoned properties in France, watch and find out.

The clock that was running was clean. The metal sink and drainboard were clean. Some water was in the dishpan and a very clean roll of paper towels was there as well. Someone was there recently.

I love the way you young man spoke about all of the places you’ve been to with respect, and also treated with the same. And although some of the stuff you saw were ways too old for your agars you did put in asking if anyone know . That was also very good as we can all learned from that. Well done . Xx

Once again you both have given us an extraordinary explore. I am so in love with the statue of the small child sleeping. How sweet. It makes me think that the people that lived here had a soft heart. Each time you explore I fell as if I am with you. As a designer I look at each home and think o fhow I could gently restore each place. Never spoiling it, just bringing ti back to it's original condition. Some people just see them as just buildings. I see them as works of art being allowed to vanish.

Hi again, I wanted to add this extra remark as an addition to a bit older video. You both were so funny in the video of the Bros of Decay in Italy, where you explored a medical center. You as the very stern "Dr. Maureno", who was reprimanding the poor patient Lesley for not having taken proper care of his denture, where after that a whining "patient" left your practise. - This was hilariously funny, and I watched it several times, always laughing. - Great, how well you collab with the Bros of Decay and especially with Lesley. - A pure pleasure to watch! - I am already looking forward to your next video. - Lots of blessings and kindest regards from completely locked down Switzerland.

Wow! Another fabulous exploration guys. I noticed in the large family picture on the bedroom wall that they had MANY children. It's common for bigger well off families to have 'Nannies', caregivers for the little ones. They may have had a housemaid as well. That extra kitchen and small sitting room with 3 chairs could have been the help's living area. I sure enjoyed the thoroughly investigated rooms. Once again your choice of music added to the beauty of the old house! I always look forward to your next exploration!! Your merchandise looks awesome! Take care. See you at your next destination! 😊👋💕👍👍

I'd like to know what kind of battery was in that clock that it was still running after all these years, cause I want some lol. The item you thought was an eraser was used to roll over the writing to dry it when they used the ink from the inkwell. Just roll it back & forth a couple of times. It always breaks my heart when I see a beautiful piano just left to decay. Great explore thanks. 💜🇺🇲

Hi Maureno and Remon, This was an extremely interesting and amazing explore. Thank you very much for sharing this adventure of your France trip with us viewers. - i enjoyed watching and was all the time thinking, what is coming next in this video, because the tour through these still quite well preserved rooms of this mansion was in every respect very exciting. - There were so many beautiful items to see like that bust, showing a woman made in the typical way of the art nouveau style. - Beautiful. You showed the name "Judith" on the pedestal of the bust. "Judith" is a figure of a non canonized book from the bible. - Great explore, which I enjoyed watching very much! - I will watch this video later in a more restful way. - Take good care and be safe. - Switzerland has now a very strict regime, but we unfortunately also have such a lot of infections. - You can hardly imagine, how scary the whole situation is here by now. Shops closed, restaurants closed, etc., nearly empty airports, reduced public transportation (trains, busses), schools and universities are also closed, very few people around and police cars on the roads. - We are all as you could say "on hold" for again better times. - God bless you, peace and kindest regards.

Hi there Willy, thank you very much for your amazing comment once again. You are always very welcome and we are happy we can take you along with us in our adventures. This was an incredible place to explore, but at the same time it is sad that all of these priceless antiques and belongings are left unloved. We are happy you enjoyed it! We've stopped travelling for a while now, but luckily we have filmed plenty of episodes in advance. God bless you all, and - yes I am of course not loosing hope, that even this very major crisis will once be over again, - and hey - then it will also be my pleasure, having a meetup with you, as I had with the BoD. - Peace and kindest regards

When writing with ink, one would blot the ink to dry before placing the letters or notes into an envelope. It may be referred as a (Ink Blotter) that is rolled one time over the written words or letters. The covering on the blotter absorbs the ink and could be changed from time to time. Every desk had a ink blotter where pen and ink was used. This is my best description from my earlier days as a child growing up in the late 1940's.

My favorite houses/mansions are in the Netherlands and in France. I hope you find more in both places. This house is spectacular to bad the family isn't taking care of the wonderful antiques and they will eventually be taken over by nature. The odd roller like object that you thought might be a chalkboard eraser was used with an old fashion ink pen, you would roll it on the ink on the paper so the ink would not smear. That one was brand new, it hadn't been used yet there was no ink on it. You guys always amaze me of the beautiful places that your adventures take me to. Looking forward to the next adventure. Love to you both of you stay safe.

Even though there is decay in the house, I would say that someone is trying to preserve it as best as they are able. Consider not only the electricity still being on but also, in the room with the piano, other than the piano, which are very heavy to move, all the furniture had been moved away from the side of the room that was collapsing. Also the room that looked like a storage space, I think was actually where they were beginning to pack things up, maybe to remove them from the house. Although the house is not lived in, I do not believe it is totally abandoned.

Don't understand why the clock would still be working. Battery should be dead after one year. Maybe someone put new battery into it.

This place was very nice, looks like someone began to pack things up then just stopped. The pictures were very old. The wood was beautiful. Another great find 🌹

What a beautiful manor. Like always so sad that these places are abandoned and where are the families? All the antiques are beautiful and so detailed. Thank you for all the awesome exploration. Love watching your exploration.

Que bonito todo! La casa, los bustos, especialmente "el niño que duerme". Los paños bordados que cubren los mueble... me ha gustado mucho vuestro trabajo y vuestro respeto a la intimidad. Saludos desde España

That attic is definitely back in the day. Lots of treasures. Those walls are falling. And one day it will collapse right on top of the beautiful antiques.

The couch and its built in shelves and mirror at the opening were beautiful. The baby boot on the clock? I am guessing someone has been back and forth on this place..looking at papers...etc.14:53--coconut carving. They probably went to the islands at one time. 32:28 used to blot ink when you would sign a document. You rolled it back and forth across the wet ink. Really enjoyed the furniture and cabinetry. The lighting was also beautiful. Stay safe guys!

Definitely one of my top 5 favorites outstanding the cloth in the little box of keys is an emery cloth just as women use Emery boards to file their nails this cloth was used to keep rust off the keys really enjoyed seeing the old telescope I mean microscope thank you for sharing this with us

It's strange when such places are so deserted and no one is interested in saving these once beautiful houses and especially when so many things are left behind. Many things could have been sold and so everything rots and has lost all value. So much history that may have been lost forever because it is sometimes impossible to reconstruct everything completely. I always feel transported to a completely different era.

Of all the rooms in the house 🏠 that I've seen, I like the two bedrooms that was well kept and no mild dew was seen in them.

The family liked to travel. Many of the busts were suvineers from foreign lands, Africa, Egypt, and the funny one you thought they carved was hand carved from a coconut, very popular in the 1950's. All the luggage in attic supports this. ❤️🇺🇸

The thing you thought was for erasing chalk is actually an ink blotter. It is used when you write with a fountain pen and helps to blot & dry the ink on the page. What an amazing place, it’s so hard to understand why the family wouldn’t take care of it. It’s all just forgotten & left to rot. So sad.

Really great find! I would love to explore this building. The second item, you did`nt know, is a gauge for letters to find out the weight for stamping.
