The difference between Mustafa and the other princes is that Mustafa was raised and brought up to be a Sultan, the others were raised to be just Shehzads.. Hence why Selim turned out to be a careless lazy sultan. Unlike Mustafa who would have been a powerful strong Sultan who ruled wisely just like his father. Suleiman thought selfishly and didn't care about the fate of the Ottoman empire when he executed him.

Everyone forgets that Mustafa wasn't the only shining prince. Mustafa's mother started this. His mother poisoned Harrum while pregnant and later finished the job. I truly do feel for Mustafa. If only Harrum had gave birth to him, like she said.

@@fleurbaptisee6179 mahidevran killed mehmed first, so her cruelty led to this, if mahidevran was smart and at least nice and kind to hurrem and her kids this fate would not have occured, she was public about Mustafa being crown prince from the beginning, she was also mean to hurrems kids all the time like they were second class, mahidevran killed her own son because of her greed and anger at hurrem for taking her husband. If mehmed was alive it was very clear that he was the favorite prince and the crown prince as his father said so on several occasions. Mahidevran and Mustafa should have respected that, if so no one would die because mehmed was a kind prince unlike others

Mahidevran was the problem all along. She was the true witch and snake that poisoned everyone. Because the Sultan didn’t want to be like his father he spared her over and over.

So Hurrem didn't put in consideration that Mustafa might revolt against his father and easily win? Her and Mihrimah's lives then would be at Mustafa's hands. Did she acknowledge Mustafa's love and loyalty for his father and for this reason she wasn't afraid?
