Tbh, I don't think Suleiman 'loved' Gulfem or Mahidevran, he just slept with them for the sake of continuing the dynasty and making his valide happy, but once he met Hurrem, it went beyond just having a consort. Like by ep 2, we see that he can't stop thinking about her, and has just fallen for her completely, that it even shocks himself. But Honestly, Gulfem had to sit through losing two sons and watch Mahidevran get the love and support she once had, to seeing it go to Hurrem. She was Suleiman's first and last consort to be by his side.

Dilnjutkan oleh kisah pernikahan antara sulaiman dengan hurrem namun d tentang oleh valide,karena dalam aturan kerajaan ottoman,seorang budak tidak boleh menikah dengan raja, akhirnya si valide pingsan ketika sulaiman menyampaikan kepada ibunya 2. Terjadi tragedi ibrahim pasha di panah oleh seorang suruhan dan di ketahui ternyata di suruh oleh Azaz pasha,untuk jabatannya dia supaya bisa naik buat gantiin ibrahim, 3. Pada saat ibrahim setelah tertembak panah, dia sengaja menyembunyikannya dari hatijah, supaya hatijah tidak panik mengingat posisi nya sedang Hamil, sehingga dia minta tolong kepada nigar kalfa untuk mengobatin luka nya, namun ketahuan sama hatijah,kemudian hatijah menyuruh nigar untuk memanggil dokter, dan setelah semua istana pada tau kalau ibrahim kenak serangan, baru pada jenguk satu satu mulai sulaiman, dan valide, serta yang lainnya paling nyesek ketika hurem ingin menyemangati hatijah saat suaminya kenak panah, di situ hatijah malah g suka,kemudian di kompor kompori sama Buzzer( mahidevran ) akhirnya menyuruh hurem buat keluar atas perintah hatijah, dan di situ hurem ama mahidevran cek cok setelah itu hurem keluar dan disaat sulaiman sedih, karena takut kehilangan tangan kanan nya, sebagai saudara, dan panglima perang, kemudian matrachi mengusulkan untuk dilakukan pengobatan di dalam dengan air gue gitu, untuk mengambil racunnya. Nah si ibrahim mimpi kalau dia telah meninggal terus d sholatin, akhirnya dia sadar sembuh. Itu aja rangkuman dari gue kalau banyak like gue janji bakal rangkum setiap episodenya 😀

Not a childhood friend....Ibrahim had been purchased as a child by a rich lady ...had grown up working on her ranch....she had him educated....he furthered his lessons in violin......and prince Suleiman and his group were out hunting one day....heard the violin music....liked it very much....the rich lady ended up gifting Suleiman with Ibrahim as a companion.......Ibrahim was younger than suleiman.....and not long after Suleiman had to go take the throne as his father died.....I would guess Ibrahim as a teenager when he was given to suleiman

One of the minor irritations I have with this show is how much emphasis was put on Mustafa being "the crown prince" even though that's not how that worked lol All shezades had equal claim to the throne regardless of age or birth order. This would have made more sense if Mahidevran had spent all this time playing up how Mustafa had so much of a head start over Hurrem's sons, how much the people love him, how smart and strategic he is. The only "crown prince" the Ottoman's had was the one who survived their brothers to ascend the throne.
