Ibrahim is the commander in chief of the army for a reason. He is so skilled at fighting. In real life also, Ibrahim pasha was well known for his war tactics. He was a very good politician and was very powerful, way more powerful than Hurrem. The only reason Hurrem won the battle is because he did a serious mistake of taking Hurrem to be weak and someone not to be taken seriously. Hurrem did not do that. But matrakchi said Ibrahim resisted worse things than that. When suleiman was a prince there was multiple attempts of killing Suleiman. Ibrahim always kept protecting him.If you remember Ibrahim once was attacked when he went to a vacation with Hatice and his kids. He threw a dagger to a man who was about to kill Hatice. He threw it from far away. And shot the target. These things weren't for drama only. It's true. Ibrahim pasha was actually very strong.

I'm not fond of these last couple of episodes... They just don't make any sense to the story line. It seems each party is going way out of their way to kill each other. And the attempt on Mustafa's life? Diana really? That does not make sense at all. What is a member of the harem doing talking to a prisoner and interrogating her. Mustafa's harem seems to be a mess instead of organized like Sulymans in the very beginning. I feel like they are ruining the atmosphere of teh show with these two women being involved.
