Hatice gets mad because of the letter that Sultana Sah has written to Ibrahim. Even if Sultana Sah tells that this is Hurrem's plot, her secret gets revealed. Suleiman feels Ibrahim's absence more than anytime while he's on Italy Campaign. Mustafa meets a mysterious woman in Manisa. When Suleiman learns what happened to Hurrem, Sultana Sah appears before Suleiman to explain it. As Hurrem thinks that she has broken her enemies' plans, she gets entrapped unexpectedly. A letter written years ago sets two sisters at odds. Sultana Sah tries to convince Hatice that the letter isn't written by her, but Hatice thinks that she has been betrayed and reacts harshly. Sultana Sah makes a new plan to be able to break Hurrem's plot. The difficulties they are faced during the campaign makes Suleiman feel even more alone. Meanwhile, Prince Mehmet gets attacked as he reconnoitres with Bali Bey. Mehmet manages to win Suleiman's appreciation thanks to his courage and strength. On the other hand, Mustafa gets upset with the news he received about the campaign. He also visits foreign traders and listens their increasing complaints. In the mean time, Mustafa meets with a Genoese woman. This woman who is known with her beauty and acrimoniousness draws also Mustafa's attention. Suleiman finally comes back from the campaign. Hurrem tells him everything happened during his absence in her point of view without losing time. Sultana Sah appears before Suleiman and gets shocked after what she hears. Hatice summons up her courage to take revenge on Hurrem without losing time. She sets a deadly trap for Hurrem with a mysterious woman coming from Manisa. What will Hatice do after learning Sultana Sah's secret? Will Sultana Sah be able to break Hurrem's plot? What trap is set for Hurrem?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

First off, Hurrem, Alexandra, was from a noble family born to wedded parents, while Shah and her siblings were actually born out of wedlick since their parents weren't married. Well, less than potrayed or different drama. 😅 Valide Hafsa Sultan was one of the first, if not so to use the title Sultan even when she had no blood of the dynasty. She is naturally freed upon her husbands death but it was Sultan Suleyman that allowed the use of it. He made so many of these changes that are overlooked for drama potrayed in the show. 😅 There are so many sites taking "facts" from the show and not history that people get so confused 🥲😬 I learnt about their history because I was looking for female rulers who changed history and found Haseki Hurrem sultan. It was her or Henry VIII wives 😅 so I chose the one who was loved by her husband.

They tried to say that if it was political, it would work. In the series, Valida Hafsa was married to Sehzade Selim before he was Sultan, remember? In reality, she was aa concubine. It was her that first broke the yoke that women held no power. It was she who was first to be granted the use of Sultan/Sultana by her son. Their correspondences apparently show that Sultan Suleyman and his mother shared great love and respect. Haseki Hurrem Sultan would be freed and married after her death. Valide Hasfa Sultan was naturally freed when her husband died as per tradition. The whole idea of using concubines was to limit political powerplay anyway. Aybige plot was so unnecessary. Mihrrimah's "forced" marriage to Rustem wasn't needed. 😅 There were soooo many inconsistencies, but it was a beautiful series. I like that it wasn't overly dramatic in regards to acting. Not 20000000 angles and recaps of the same scenes or flashbacks. It was very well paced. I wish Meryam portrayed Hurrem till the end, but Vahide was amazing as well. She portrayed the changed woman after her capture so very well.
