He was the ruler of an army of more 100.000 people. And look at the young people today, crying for network connection. The world has made huge tehnological progress but people are hundreds times stupid. Or just look at the leaders today, how many have the conscience that they are ruling a country for his greatness. Its impresive how they were educated at that era with conscience of a ruler

I never felt sorry for Gevherhan. True, Atike was being a bit of a loser for continuing to cry after Silhatar even after he told her he didn’t wanted her, but Gevherhan always played the victim by lying about how she had no idea about Atike’s love especially when she was the only one who knew from the very beginning. Atike confided in her and at that time she didn’t have any feelings for Silhatar. She only started falling for him after he started wooing her and she still lied about not knowing about Atike’s feelings and went ahead and blamed Atike

Super awesome how Kosem blames Murad for everything. That’s really sort of despicable of her. She’s an adult, where do you think he learned it from? Also, it is very hard for me to suspend my disbelief about these two marriages. Sultanas had rights, especially the ones who were daughters of Sultans, and not the ones who gave birth to princes. Let’s not forget that they could have divorced them quite easily too. Also, at the beginning of the series, Murad kills Geverhan’s husband. She really shouldn’t have been surprised by anything Murad asked of her.
