Magnificent descent to Cofete Beach. Part 1. Fuerteventura cycling. 4K

The magnificent beach at Cofete in the south of Fuerteventura can only be reached by a single road from Morro Jable, the last 20km of which is a dirt track. The road is quite rough in places, but the quality improves in the section leading from the mountain pass down to the beach.
The path down is a gorgeous ride, probably more enjoyable on a bike than in a car as it is quite narrow in places.
There is a mini-bus service (No. 111) twice a day to Cofete and to the lighthouse Faro Punta de Jandia, running from the Bus Station in Morro Jable, but passenger numbers are limited.
