Beautiful night of darts once again. Whenever theres matchups between Price, Smith and MVG i just look so forward to it. They bring out the best in each other and its great to watch for everyone. My 4 fav players r in the top 4 and i hope thats the top 4 come finals night. I hope all 4 of them bring their A game and we can see the best darts. Today with Price and MVG i just had a feeling that MVG gonna win. I saw their Premier League head to head this year is 3-2 Price and hes won the last 5 matches between them so I just had that gut feeling that today MVG is gonna win it and it was a great game. A few missed doubles from Gezzy otherwise it could have been very close. With Smith and MVG it was the opposite, MVG missed a few crucial doubles and Smith won it. Smith in the final was just mesmerising. I wish that D12 went in, it would have raised the roof. But then from that to finish it in 10 darts and then hit back to back 180s to be on a 9 in the very next leg, i mean thats ridiculous. Jonnys smile was all of us, thats how my reaction was as well. What can u do but smile in disbelief when ur seeing such amazing darts. Smith absolutely superb going back to back in the PL and from being in a top 4 race, hes now in the race for the top spot. If he beats MVG next week hell be 1 point behind with the potential to overtake. Amazing 2 weeks coming up and with Nathan and Jonny both on 22 points, just like last year between Wright and Cullen, it could come down to the clash between them on night 16 to decide who gets top 4.

@@liamkiney4124 The odd miscount is permissible, but Russ has one almost every other match. He got away with this particular one because MvG cleaned up and he didn't have to tell Gerwyn he required 22 when he knew damn well he left 24. Miscounts from PDC referees should be exceptionally rare, it's an embarrassment for it to happen this often to one of the top refs. I actually like the guy but his maths is simply not up to scratch.

Anyone else love how much Dimitri is not a sore loser. I love the big dart guys, but a lot are very unprofessional about a loss. My favourite is Price, but my god does he annoy the tf out of me when loses to anyone besides Clayton lol. I 100% get their hunger and that's why they are the best, but accept you can't win every match lol.

When he's on it there's not many who can match Michael Smith. If he is at his best then he can quite easily beat elite players like MVG and Price as though they are pub players. Such an exciting time in darts.
