What a time to be a darts fan. This must be one of the most competitive and highest standards of play I've seen in about 20+ years watching the game. So nice to see such great attitude and camaraderie amongst the players as well. I hope people finally get off Gerwyn's back, when he's at his best he's a joy to watch. Imagine competing at the top in not one, but two disciplines. Humphries and Littler are two absolute monsters but they're going to have their work cut out with how strong their competition is now. Aspinall might be my favourite, great attitude combined with such gritty determination.

Yeah I agree 💯, Chizzy is my favourite player, cos he's my local boy, only lives 5/10 mins away, but the Asp is deffo up there, he's a class act, love great sportsmanship, he's a class act and great role model, good on y Nathan, 🎯 is on 🔥💯 .

@@georgeemoore1690 Definitely, Definitely, Definitely, sorry but what more can I say, apart from Definitely, The standard has gone up massively, cos anyone can win any tournament now, like in the past it was mainly one person dominating, Bristow, Taylor the Goat, and MVG, now I think there is one or two standing out at the moment, the two Luke's, but I think, The Nuke is deffo the one that could dominate, or that player might not even have been born yet, 👀😁🎯🔥👀

This is one of the most exciting Premier League seasons ever. 6 weeks of the league phase and its gonna be so exciting now. Gezzy was so good in the first 2 matches and the QF v Wright was a stunning match. U wouldnt think they r the 2 bottom players with those sort of performances but as they say form is temporary, class is permanent. That 9 darter in the semis was so good and after hitting the 2 180s i had a very strong feeling the wait in the PL for a 9 will be over. Such a shame he couldnt bring that level to the final otherwise we would have had a stunning final. Fair play to Littler though. Will he follow MVG and Humphries and get his hattrick next week? I cant wait to see what happens.

I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s pure fear. They are terrified to lose because they think they aren’t meant to, which is a terrible mindset for a pro in any sport. Because they have been shaky with him since he hit the World Cup of darts.

ima disagree, his scoring is what makes him hard to beat, it gives him many tries at doubles. he said it himself a few weeks ago, doubles is a weak point of his game. he has been improving however, and tonight he has been very good at doubles.

Good performances but overall the guy is old and he's holding up a place as to where a younger lad on the scene could move in, like Chris Dobey or Van den Bergh for example, and have the chance to make a name for himself on the big stage. Peter just doesn't have that killer instinct in my opinion
