*The most outstanding video from JPL/NASA in 2016!* (so far ;) Awesome imagery, good pace, clear text and a great soundtrack. Congratulations to the MRO team and related contractors for such a successful long-running mission. Great science from a great team! 5*!

And such beautiful music too! And revisiting the rovers and lander is so emotional!

I always thought NASA should superimpose images of famous buildings, sites and stuff onto these kind of images. So you could get a sense of scale. When releasing a video like this, make another one just the same but with superimposed things on it. A companion video.

@piranha0310918 жыл бұрын
+Brandon Hall It's actually "enhanced colors" on the images that show a lot of blue : they use color channels that extend into the infrared, and allow to distinguish different minerals more easily. In reality, these area are more grey.

with 10 years and 45,000 orbits, I'm sure they have just as beautiful and as detailed images of the Cydonia area and the "Face" as well as the DM Pyramid and more. They know there are many of us that would love to see those images in this quality, I just ask myself, "why haven't they showed any images from the MRO of Cydonia? Are they hiding something, or do they think it to boring and uninteresting and choose not to waste our time looking at it?

I knew someone was lying when they said that water flowed on Mars billions of years ago. Much of the water is still on the surface, just a few inches beneath Mars iron/ oxide soil. The part of Mars that had less craters may be actually lakes and bodies of water frozen over time- but it's still there under dust deposited by dust storms.
