asking to u what do u use to steady your vids pls as have awefull issues doing so , myself does the same as what u do car events. brill vid

Hi Dave, thanks for your comment. Good to meet you both days at the event. Must admit I'd love a gimball stabilised camera but they do have some compromises. Anyway with my Sony CX240, a fairly basic camcorder, I've always used it with image stabilising switched on, as default. Additionally, when I'm walking around I walk slowly and smoothly [as I would if holding, say, a hot cup of coffee], and don't use any zoom unless I'm standing still. When I'm panning I try to do that as smoothly and slowly as possible, well, most of the time anyway! By all means move the camera around, but try to keep these movements slow and smooth.
