Great video and super weather too .. always an added bonus A couple of years ago, I was at Whitley Bay seafront and noticed something was going on, or at least was about to. After a few questions I found out it was a vintage bus rally. I quickly took out my phone and filmed some of the buses as they arrived. I even managed to take an open top bus ride on an old 1966 Leyland bus. My video proved quite popular, but sadly the Whitley Bay Bus Rally never took place again. 2022 was the last one.

@Wheels-Wheels-Wheels13 күн бұрын
Normally it's been playing a lot better than that. I gather it's a barrel organ been converted to run on midi and the problem was with the midi files I've read recently. Rest assured that nothing has been "destroyed" regarding the conversion and it could be returned to barrel operation if so required.

So many organs! Wish more rallies here had that many!
@Wheels-Wheels-Wheels13 күн бұрын
Yes, it really was a treat to see so many organs at this special event weekend. Typically though, organ numbers aren't that great at most UK rallies any more. There used to be plenty of them around but the typical rallies [local to me] only have 1 to 4. Never-the-less, it's worth travelling to special events such as this and the Weald & Downland organ gathering.

Yes, it is a Gavioli but can justify the Marenghi title too as it was reworked by Marenghi many years ago. In reality, many of the old organs we see today will have received substantial changes, additions, or modifications during their working lives.
