The news that Prince Mustafa moving towards the throne and Suleiman is heavily wounded drop in the place like a bombshell. Hurrem takes an action to stop Mustafa. Sultana Sah supports Hurrem who is worried about her princes. However, Hurrem doesn't trust her and makes an important decision. Though, Hurrem's life turns into a nightmare with this decision. After Hurrem gets a hard hit, she challenges her enemies! All the balances get upset suddenly with a message received in the palace. Hurrem both tries to reach to Suleiman and stop Mustafa. She literally has her back to the wall and needs to make a decision. She will either leave her princes' destinies in Mustafa's hands or enthrone her son and shape their destinies on her own. Meanwhile, Sultana Sah takes a quick action with the message they've received. Even if she looks like she's on Hurrem's side, it is obvious that she will support Mustafa. She offers Hurrem to hide the princes in her palace. However, Hurrem doesn't trust her at all. Just the time Hurrem thinks that she's ensured her princes' securities, she gets devastated with the news that Bayezid and Cihangir has abducted. Hurrem gets mad and starts to look for her children. She gets shocked with the thing she sees. Hurrem gets a hard hit and falls into silence. Just as her enemies think that they have won a victory, Hurrem reveals a secret that will set them at odds.
Will Mustafa accede to the throne? What will Hurrem do to stop him? Who abducted the princes? What is the thing that shocked Hurrem? What is the secret Hurrem reveals?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

AH SELMA ERGEC IS A DIVINELY BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. to add more she us such an incredible actress. especially her scene learning ibrahim's death left me weeping. saw a couple of interviews of her during this show and oh gosh, she is fluent in german, english, nails that perfect british accent, she can actually play a violin and also sing. how wonderful, made me a fan ❤️

umm the show doesn't quite reflect the actual history. if you read the actual history and relied on the show for what actually happen, you'll probably see that mustafa was wronged and ibrahim didn't quite deserve an execution but mere banishment, but his to his own i guess.

hatice was not this person in history lol, she died of disease and not suicide. i don't think she ever instigated mustafa and there's no such evidence toom :/ also rustem and hurrem orchestrated and falsified a letter from the persian khan to mustafa, confirming the alliance, which was later denied by the persian khan. that's the major reason why suleiman murdered mustafa. that's what the history and historians say. it may seem like mahidevran and hatice sealed mustafa's fate acc to the show but the show is largely inconsistent with the actual history

I know they spiced it up for the purpose of the show,but many people who don't know the history think that this is how it really happened. Mahidevran only had a fight with Hurrem,after that she did not mingle with Hurrem. Hatice snd other sister's had no say in the harem or palace,they were married off,.If Valide wanted to kill Hurrem she could have done it. Hurrem was no victim ever,only was power hungry and she achieved what she wanted with lot's of cunning and henchmen. The history is always written by the winner's,sadly they make it favourable for them and very disparaging and scournful for the loosers. Many times it is,with lot of slunder.
