All these years he hasn't grown up, his problem still remained that he think everyone slighted him. Everyone slighted his mother but she was smart. Sehzade Bayezid sounds like he is Mahidevran's son. Doom and despair, "I have done no wrong" He had the power to choose and he choice STUPID every other day even though he had such good council 💀 Gotta be smart to survive, even today we gotta do that 🥲

Both suleiman and Hurrem never tried to understand Beyazid for once. And suleiman has a habit of thinking people who are helpless and always speak sweet words to him are the only ones who are loyal to him. This is why every other character died and Beyazid too. And Beyazid was trying to keep his mother's promise but Selim as soon as Hurrem died didn't even think about that . He started to plot against Beyazid. This is why he won. Good people always suffer in these power games. This is the rule .

@@DimSK. Valide Sultan is the mother of the ruling Sultan and Hurrem died when her husband Suleyman was still Sultan. Mihirmah was never valide sultan too. About Mihirmah, which Sultan was her son for her to be valide sultan? After Suleyman's mother, the next woman who got the chance to become valide sultan was Nurbanu followed by Safiye, Handan, Halime, Kosem, Turhan and so on.

Well Rustem has no option. Beyazid follows mustafas path since long time ago. Valide sultan was able to control him to a specific level , unlike mahidevil that ended mustafas life. Since valide sultan is gone, Beyazid is out of his path, this is the result of mahidevran.

@@princess7jasmine No. Mustafa had plenty of chances but he wasted them all. Don’t forget Mahidevran was against the free woman in his harem and even his marriage with Mihrunisa. When Mustafa decided to go to Istanbul after the poisoned Caftan matter, Mahidevran did ask him to think about his decisions again. When Mustafa decided to save his father, Mahidevran did warned him about that. Lastly, even about the fake letter, Mahidevran wasn’t happy that Mirhimah came and tried everything to stop her son from meeting with his father where he was executed. I cannot even count how many times Mahidevran tried to save Mustafa. The great advice she gave him. Even Mustafa’s advisor were saddened by his decisions. If you watched all Magnificent century, Suleyman himself recognized Mahidevran’s growth and great education to Mustafa. However, Mustafa choose to do whatever he wants. After all, a mother to a prince and sultan is just an advisor, she cannot force him to do everything she wants.

The fact that Hurrem’s children were that manipulable and dependent doesn’t mean they couldn’t grow to be a better person. As a child, Mustafa was extremely arrogant, he was the only prince that survived and used to think that the throne is his. As He grew up, he put himself below Suleyman as he should. Yes it was Mahidevran who used to tell him that the palace and sultanate is his (which princes grew up, hearing everyday). Didn’t he grow and know that Suleyman was above him??? Yes.
