In real life, it's hard to say what would happen if Mustafa had become the sultan. In reality, Mustafa wasn't really close with his brothers, but their relationship was cordial. However, his brothers would be a threat to his throne, so Mustafa would have exiled or even killed them to protect himself. In real life, maybe hurrem did wanted Mustafa dead, but that was because she wanted to protect her sons, because mahidevran and her didn't like each other, so she was probably worried that she would influence Mustafa to kill her sons. It was brutal, but at the end of the day, hurrem and mahidevran were two mothers trying to protect their children.

You need to understand that Anne was probably in love with another man, but Henry wanted Anne and once he put his eyes on her, no other man would try to challenge him. Henry sent the man away from the court and Anne realized that she needed to be with Henry ,because at that point, no other man would approach her, and her family probably pressured her into being with him. The reason why she insisted on being his legal wife was because her sister, who had an affair with Henry, got pregnant but her reputation was destroyed. Anne wanted to keep her reputation, so she insisted on becoming his wife. At the end of the day, she made mistakes, but she's not this evil witch that people like to portray her often. And another thing: Henry was already looking to divorce his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, way before he had met Anne. Even if Anne wasn't in the picture, Catherine would still have suffered because he was already looking for his next wife...but people believe that Anne simply convinced him into leaving Catherine which is not true at all.

I liked these videos focusing on one person. I would like to see more, such as one for Valide Sultan. As far as the end of Sultanas in general is truly tragic. Either one of Hurrem or Mahidevran could end badly, but not both. In that sense, Hurrem was lucky to die young. She didn't see what followed. Life as a royal in the Ottoman Empire must have truly been excruciating.

Actually you witnessed your own handiwork and either become more and more bitter and unhappy if you don't let go of all the grudges and evil deeds, and move on .... Hureem realised that and she asked for forgiveness from mahidrevan, seek out Ibrahim's grave and tried to repent and atone for all her wrongdoings .. so that she could have peace of mind upon her death. Whilst mahidrevan still held on to her grudges and continued to curse Hureem, Suleyman and everybody against her until old age. Always calling upon Allah to curse these people. That's her greatest sin apart from sending her son to his death. Hope that she repented in her old age or upon her death.

Its a series and has no relation to the reality. moreover, Mehmet died of natural causes while Hürrem was never kidnapped. Hatice wasn’t married to Ibrahim if that’s what you’re presuming. After ordering the execution of Mustafa and Bayzeid, during his last years, Suleiman ordered the newborn şehzade from a concubine to be executed as Suleiman wanted Selim to take the throne before him. So all was good for Suleiman even after the death of Hürrem.

They made him seem far more suave and with it in the show, but in real life he was kind of moody and not very tall at all, he was simply brutal and had survived his own brothers and the killing game that goes on by more or less outsmarting them and basically hiding out and letting them kill each other off. He wasn't a very kind guy to most people. But unfortunately, this was the way of the ottomans. They were encouraged to have as many princes (with different concubines, mind you) but eventually, most of them would die so one could take the throne. It was ...how things were then.

Mahidevran also took Suleyman from Gulfem once, she also took another woman's love and happiness so why did she expect boomerang would not come to her? 2. From the day dynasty members knew Suleyman's favorite was Hurrem, they tried to get rid of her. 3. At first, Hurrem was not evil but the circumstances made her do many evil things. 4. Even at the slightest mistake Hurrem was punished at the maximum level, whereas Mahidevran beat her up, lied, poisoned her and she was not punished for any of her crimes. So, they all favorited Mahidevran and hated Hurrem for the same reasons 5. Hurrem's children were not respected if you take a look from door men to kalfas and pashas , they acted like her children were not royal members, but Mustafa was everything for them 6. Hurrem did many bad things, but she did many good things as well- why do not you say it? In conclusion, yes every woman was jealous with each other, they did many bad things( like you said Hurrem burned Maria's face) but do not forget when you blame her, what other did to her ( for example: Ibrahim pasha chose Maria just to make Hurrem go crazy) it is just one example, many like this exists :) Hurrem may not be an angel, but do not forget other people have really strong hand in making her do bad and evil things. Why does Mustafa's daughter call mahidevran as walida e sultan? She is not a walide sultan. And Mustafa got killed which is very sad but if Mustafa became king no matter how much he loved his bros he would have to kill them because thats how it worked at that time. I would like to give some credit to Suleyman. He's didn't just listen to Hureem or Rustam.
