@Fried_chips3478 Yes hurrem's haseki sultan title outranked everyone except for Suleiman. Suleiman specifically created the haseki sultan title for Hurrem so she could rule the harem after his mother's death. So the most powerful people in the palace were always the sultan and then the haseki sultan,nobody stood above them. This is a written fact in history

@@Fried_chips3478 I've never gotten this claim since Hafsa, who _wasn't_ a part of the "bloodline", outranked all of her daughters through being the senior female of the dynasty. After her death, the title of Haseki Sultan was created specifically so that Hürrem could step into that role instead (there's a _reason_ she's called the closest thing to an empress the Ottomans ever had). As others have already stated, this is quite literally a historical fact, whether you like it or not. There isn't an exact record of Mustafa bowing to Hürrem since their interactions after she achieved the title would've been minimal at best, but I wouldn't be surprised if he inclined his head in respect to her status and seniority (the latter of which was considered as important as rank in the empire). "The haseki, a slave concubine and no blood relation to the reigning sultan ranked higher than the sultan's own sisters and aunts, the princesses of the dynasty. I hated how they were able to hide Firuze from Hurrem for so long. When she came into the harem Mihrimah was a little girl and when she leaves Mihrimah is grown smh Someone should've said something and Nigar could've been so powerful had she stayed true to herself and loyal to Hurrem Sultan.
