There are a lot of things in this drama to praise from jewellery to make up costumes, dialogues, the whole story most important acting the spiritual touch palaces the music and so on..... This drama is a masterpiece I must say and also deserves the name magnificent. It's absolutely magnificent.. ❤ This whole serial made me feel like I'm living in that time sometimes laugh sometimes cry sometimes feel like getting old and heartbroken

One thing which we should observe..this was all a game of power and to save lives of them and their bloods...the disappointment in rustem's face when he sees mustafa lying dead, the emotional phase of hurrem that she knows Mustafa is going to die and the devastation of Suleiman proves this everything was about being in power and to save their own lives. they actually don't want to kill Mustafa but they did.

It is 1553 now and the Sultan passed away in 1566, so Mustafa would have been 51 years old when he could step to the throne. He might have passed away from natural causes before....Just ook at the English Royal Family...If it was the 16th century there would be a great civil war.

What I like about this show is that moments like these are known that they are coming,it's not a surprise but the audience is still watching. This is the saddest moment for me,when Mustafa died because it did happen in history and if I ever go to Turkey in my lifetime I want to see his grave. The song when they take him outside is very sad,when Tashlicali cries is so heartbreaking but when Cihangir cries for his brother and then yells outside Suleiman's tent is the saddest thing because historicly Cihangir really died of sadness several months after his brother death. I love the music,so sad.

And here are the key differences between Mahidevran and Hurrem... When Mahidevran killed Mehmet she smiled with satisfaction knowing she took his life and Hurrem cried bitterly feeling guilty she had to take his life. Everyone around him are as guilty as Hurrem pushing him and jabbing him and want him to take the throne before Suleiman was dead and his Mother manipulating him was the worse. In the end they all paid the price.

Then, they answered themselves an other letter, in which they replied Tahmasp's answer to Mustafa and it was just Tahmasp himself replied to Mustafa. It was all fake. Maybe Hurrem and Rustem didn't give the execution order of Mustafa, but that doesn't mean that they didn't have any interest or even more correctly part at his execution. They did it and Syleiman ordered it, without giving at least him a chance to explain or investigate the case.

Everyone who says that Hurrem and Rustem never took part at Mustafa's execution, they should rewatch the show and to read again the History of Mustafa's life and his execution. They set up a trap for him, this wasn't a real rebellion. The first sultan from the "golden cage" was Mustafa I. His brother- sultan Ahmed I (1603-1617) didn't kill him but kept him in the "golden cage" confinement during his reign.

I feel so bad for Suleiman. He really had no other choice, since everyone around Mustafa was planning a rebellion for so long, there was no turn back. He had to do this or die with all of his other sons. And since Mustafa did sooo many mistakes and absolutely didn't want to obey his orders, Suleiman would be mad to sacrifice his and his sons' lifes for Mustafa to live. But there is no denial, that Suleiman loved Mustafa the most, Bayezid for example would be dragged for much lesser offences. Suleiman loved him so much, he always tried to save him from all his mistakes, when everyone around Mustafa was only drowning him further. Mahidevran and Mihrinisa dream about killing sultan and his sons, but are so shocked with Mustafa's execution, that's so wild.

Sadly only Haseki Hurrem brought the nuke to a cannon fight. Her sons thought they lived so long cause their brother loves them so much, ah poor Sehzade Mehmet and his naïve innocence and nobody knew or understood. They plotted against her, planned against even the Sultan an survived till it was too much yet somehow he was wrong. Mahidevran was still loading her belatedly set up nuke, in fact she and Hatice Sultan caused huge holes in Hurrem's plans but their efforts where thrown off and delayed because the woman had huge nukes like Mihrrimah Sultan all ready to go. She at least understood the influence and machine that was the loyalty of people to her brother and what they'd do for him even without his consent and more importantly what it would look like to the Sultan. Nobody else seemed to understand the parameters of the war, until too late or they ignored tradition and got burnt. If the Sultan warns a Sehzade of overstepping boundaries, it means they are now a contender to the throne. Everyone was warned so many times yet they didn;t get it. He didn't lie to Chihangir at all, he agreed a father cannot kill his son BUT a Sultan will protect his throne and a man will protect his wife and children. Even if Mustafa wanted to spare his brothers, it would come to what the people and followers wanted and Sultan Suleiman knew it too. Good for Selim, he understood the assignment. Allthough real history was much more interesting.

All it started with Shah huben, as always Mahideveran, who wants to kill Hurrem and her kids, The closest associates of Mustafa and co, even now on date all want to kill Suleiman and to enthrone Mustafa especially Meherunnissa and Mahideveran, both wants Suleiman head and love to go to Istanbul palace. Their greedy to power took the life of Mustafa and blaming Hurrem and Rustem not acceptable .
