Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.
Sultan Murad IV conquers Baghdad, despite all the measures of the novices. Kemankeş appointed Mustafa Pasha as the Grand Vizier and sent him to Shah Safi.

Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

But what they are portraying here is totally wrong. Mughals, infact were very boastful about their power. Akbar had refused to acknowledge Suleyman as Khalifa after ascending the throne. Every badshah used to call themselves "Shahenshah" meaning Shah of the Shah. They would've never called someone else the same and bow before them like peasant lol. Ottomans were powerful but they were not almighty. And i Don't think any mughal prince had married to any ottoman princess or vice verse. The only foreign princess Shahjahan was married to was Kandahari Begum, a Safavid princess. Ottomans and Mughals did not have very strong connection but they had mutual respect for one another because of their sunni origin.

They call themselves Padishah so were Mughals who also use the same title and even the superior title of Shehnshah (Emperor of the Emperors) . And also the Prophet Muhammad saw has say that there will be 12 caliphs who would succeed him and all of them will be from Quraish . So any non Arab non Quraishi can't claim the title of caliph . And even if he is a Quraishi ,if the number exceeds 12 than he can't be a caliph . So, basically only Allah and his Prophet knows who the actual caliphs were? So stop giving the title to anyone.

It’s absurd to see that Emperor Shah Jahan is bowing to Sultan Murad. I'm not South Asian nor Turkish, but from my study of history and even though I find the Ottoman empire more interesting, the Mughal empire in its prime was a lot more powerful both economically and militarily than the Ottoman empire by a long mile. Some are commenting that ottomans were caliphs so their decrees will be followed everywhere. But it wasn't the case with mughals. It was actually Emperor Akbar who refused to recognize Ottoman sultan as Caliph or his superiority. His attitude towards ottomans was a little hostile. He followed the policy where mughals would not recognize the religious authority of anyone outside of Mughal empire. He even had the titles of Imam-i-adil, Padshah-i-islam which were not taken by any sultan or emperor but by a Caliph. He also placed himself as the head of state and religion which means he could issue religious decrees. His policy was followed by Jahangir and Shah Jahan. When Ottoman sultan Suleiman ll sent an emissary for help against the holy league to Aurenzgeb, he didn't even receive them properly and provide no help.
