Well done Davo. It must be handy having an aeronautical engineer in the family.

Thanks for the feedback - I had a lot of advice when making it! 😀

Yep, that's why us Old Kamikazi Club members prefer EPP toys Dave. 😉 For your EPS builds, just adding thin packaging tape to any stress areas is generally the lightest fix. You can use carbon fibre or double up the EPS sheeting but that adds weight and/or bulk. And Superglue has a bad habit of going exactly where you DON'T want it - especially in shaky hands under the supervision of bleary-eyed Old Farts! 😱🙄😂

I’ve learned a lot from these builds. Looking forward to improving the planes. Nothing like flying something you’ve made yourself!

Very nice build👍 What are the dimensions? How big is the wingspan?
@DavesFunRC6 ай бұрын
Thanks! The wingspan is 38cm (15”). Length is 36cm and now weighs 78g after a few upgrades (1020 motor, tissue covered wings, stronger undercarriage). See later videos. Is now one of my mainstays for indoor flying.
