Magnus, PLEASE do a video with Magnus Mitbø (number 1 Norwegian rock climbing champ) He has a big channel and I think he'd be glad to collab with you on a video to promote your app. Rock climbing is very mentally intensive like chess, I think you two have compatible personalities, and it would make an interesting video for content. Magnus x Magnus needs to happen. Plus it can be a fun hobby to pursue (if you want to keep in good shape). I always see people mix your names up, so it would be funny to see you guys attempt each other's sport. Mitdbo loves challenging new disciplines and is insanely talented much like yourself.

the comments on the app on the moves need to be formatted a bit better, theres the moves under the commentry that gets cut off sometimes and although i can see the moves visually on the board above it, id still want to see all information if you are showing it to not be cut off from viewing. also id like to be able to resize the board if i want without it snapping back to the set size.

I get that this is showing off the app, but it's a poor game coverage. It's mainly a matter of focus, Magnus having to look at his phone is distracting because we immediately think that we should focus on the small board but that conflicts with the attention that needs to be given to Magnus' analysis. The text commentary is another distraction, it's nice in the app but we shouldn't need it since Magnus is here. I think Magnus needs better materials to work with to give play by play so we can focus more on his analysis and the story around the game. Tweak the board size and try to use subdued lights and sounds to highlight key points and larger phases like openings and end games so layman like me can figure things out without losing focus on Magnus' storytelling/analysis. Anyway, keep it up. I hope to be watching more in the future.

​​​@@IDMYM8I would say it depends on what their goals are for Take Take Take. I assumed the goal was trying to grow the appeal of the pro scene and make content less dense and more easily digestible. Increasing mass appeal through short form analysis of high level/profile gameplay. I only really watch chess videos that show up in my feed, but I felt Magnus did alright in this regard. If the goal of this video wasn't a preview of their short form analysis I would be even more concerned since the better content would have been the more social aspects surrounding the game and how he felt about it. However, there was next to nothing about Levy challenging him if he was drunk or even him wearing the beer goggles during this game. Honestly, some details like these should be there regardless so people can understand the relevence/importance of these games.

Levi a while back when interviewing magnus ask how drunk he would have to be to lose a game to him, magnus said they would have to start at 20 and go from there. The goggles were to emulate being drunk, and how he would see the board, instead of actually getting drunk.

Specifically, those goggles give you double-vision, but multiplied. To Magnus, it would look like 4 or 5 boards overlapping each other while playing. The idea of the goggles are to simulate how a very drunk person sees, being unable to focus their vision properly. Do not try if you're prone to motion sickness.
