Holy crap. They really made it like a sport. I feel like it's Champion's League ad. This is epic

Please, just provide us with LIVE BOARD FOOTAGE of every board next to a 2D board. The community craves this and it comes at the cost of what -- 8 tripods and 8 (Iphones?) anything able to capture footage reliably.

Yea that likely isn’t going to happen. If livestreams of any chess event are any indication. Streaming just isn’t that reliable. Forget the logistics and the, though you downplay it, rather exorbitant cost to record a single event when the moves are being captured on their boards. Here’s an idea. Set up a chess board and play the moves as they come in.

Consider a situation where there are over 10 games being played at a time. That would be how many iPhones?

I love that you can get notifications eveytime a player's move, especially in classic, since I don't usually have the time to watch the streams. I also like that every move has a comment and helps to understand the position. I'm learning a lot here.

This app looks fantastic. ❤ The name is cool and inviting. Many other sports have a similar app to follow the game live, even if you are not in front of a TV. 📺 This totally does it for Chess. 💯 You can learn a whole lot even from a completed game!

The app needs an option to disable the haptic feedback. The vibration is mega distracting when tapping through the game review, and haptics in general are a big waste of phone battery, so many people like to keep them consistently disabled.

Nice app although If I may ask for a feature, that would be to add commentaries. Waiting 10 mins without any commentary for a move is truly boring. Rapid, blitz and bullet time control would be cool to follow with the App.

But that's a terrible super generic add. What is the app for? What is its functionality? Is it free, subscription-based or paid?

@ItsAsparageese2 ай бұрын
There are definitely problems with the video (namely that the ad says absolutely nothing useful or specific), but the title isn't one of them. Accessibility matters, even in chess. There are blind or visually impaired players and fans and KZbin users. Not everyone can see what's going on in a thumbnail, but a screen reader can clarify when Magnus' name is in the title.

I think it's still a good job, but! But despite its obvious dissimilarity to the boring chess competitors, this intro and the visual style of the logo looks like a set of effects that were popular in 2015 (10 years ago!) and are now only used in the gaming industry to show "youthfulness". That is, it all looks like a Steve Buscemi character. Is it visually fresher than the competition? Yes, definitely. But soon enough, people will perceive this visual style as something from the distant past.
