A couple of poor performances tell you only that he’s going through a rough patch, which has happened before. But what’s your deal, anyway? Magnus is still a beast, I still love that I’m alive to witness his reign and it’s still just amazing. Did Wesley crush him? No. In fact, Magnus had plenty of winning chances. So what’s your point? He’s out of form and yet still got to the final and still almost won the tournament last week.

They are playing with a 2s increment, which they get after every move. It has become the norm over the last several years (goes for over the board chess as well).
