Bharath Subramaniyam became an IM at the age of 11 years. He became a GM at the age of 14. He is an amazing super talent of Indian chess. He took on Magnus Carlsen at the 5th round of the Qatar Masters Open 2023. Magnus opened the game with 1.e4 and Bharath responded with 1...e5. What if Rg2 after Rxf2?? Then if king takes the rook, still have perpetual?? Or if king anyway moves to Kh3, then still rook chase Rxh2?? Is it possible to have a draw?? Respect.

There is no perpetual if the K is on g2 (perpetual only exist with K on f2) because after Qe2 check, the King can hide on a white square.

Magnus is more than twice the age of Bharath, has tons more experience, and is arguably the GOAT. But Bharath played on a par with Magnus for most of the game. Very well done, young man!
