Obviously Kasparov had an immense pressure not to lose to a 13yo and #700 in the world. BUT... damn did Magnus as a kid made him shit bricks during the whole game. The amount of confidence at 13 years of age from Magnus is outstanding. 3:13 I think Kasparov did that move on purpose since Magnus wasn't looking at the board at the time. Little did it work when the kid came back running to make his move knowing exactly what he had moved and making Kasparov even MORE nervous. Kasparov was terrified of 13yo Magnus!

maybe he was terrified but in the end he drew the game and won the second game (where it was up to him to use the whites). Kasparov looks at Carlsen and thinks: "Who is this boy, who drove me into deep defense?" :-)
@draycott-music87646 жыл бұрын
No ! El ya lo conocía. En el 2002 o 2005 lo estuvo entrenando en secreto para que llegara a ser el campeón del mundo.

@@user-ny2gt7zc7t Kasparov Clearly underestimated Magnus, if they played again, Garry surely would Not play the opening the same, he played cheekily thought Magnus would go astray, but Carlsen was solid. So it ended very close.

Wow...magnus left the chair for a brief time while playing against the world no 1 kasparov. And the kid returned Immediately after the clock tick and played a move without thinking as if he knew what was kasparov gonna play next. That's incredible.

That’s actually normal when you know how to play the game because any other move would’ve been wrong

@@sinclairj7492 If kasparov thinks for that long there were other viable moves it was just the best one maybe. I mean it happens often if you play against a similar good player. But it is not that normal if you play the number 1 dude. Think you dont got that

@@stevenhorstgeorg5728 no kasparov was like 60 when they played when u reach an average age u dont think as fast as a 20 years adult or a young guy so took him a while to figure out the best move posible

The fact when Carlsen gave a small smirk realising he got into his head was the best part of the video.
