Everyone watching this, take note of how incredibly talented and savagely strong Pete is. It’s easy to think wow he’s shutting Magnus down, but Magnus is incredible at a different kind of climbing so there’s a gap in knowledge and skill. The things that Pete (and Tom) have done are truly generation defining. And his humble attitude about sport climbing and bouldering 😅 he’s a fucking weapon at both of those don’t be fooled 😜💪

Pete's rope solo of Freerider is one of my go-to motivators. Even just thinking about it blows my mind.

Pete seems to have a lot more distance to the cracks than you have Magnus (straight arms, and slightly elongated legs), while at least for the first crack, you did most of it with slight bend in your elbow and legs a lot closer to your body. While having shorter distance to the wall is usually a good thing, the technique that Pete uses, seems to lead to less explosive moves and conservation of some energy. Then again Pete could simply be very good and i am seeing things that isn't there.

Magnus has kind of a Bruce Lee thing a lot of the time. "If I say that I'm the best probably you will say that I am boasting. But if I say I'm no good then you'll know I'm lying." He knows he's a world class climber, but also that a lot of people have surpassed him since he stopped competing.

Welcome to The Nordic, where the most poisonous spider is the European garden spider. With a sting less poisonous than a wasp. (We do have some worse ones but they’re imported, live in specific environments and are exceedingly rare, nothing that would kill an healthy, grown man though)
