Been playing the tenor horn since I was 7 and it honestly has such a beautiful sound, there's so much you can do with it! Very mellow at times but you can still get that real brassy sound if you try! Learning this song right now in the brass band I'm in. Lovely to see more horn players around.

Thanks for listening Vortexx, keep up the practice and you'll get better ... the DW2 is still a good choice, good luck with the playing 👍

Hi Kerstin ... thanks for listening. Brass band joke : How do you get three tenor horns to play in tune? ... tell two of them to take it up an octave and then leave it out :-D!!

I wonder if playing alone all ? It is amazing

+Tetuya Makino Hi there ... yes, all the parts were recorded separately and then mixed together using Adobe Audition software.Best wishes from Tom:-D!!

+Mags496 Grandfather's Clock is also sung as a children's song in Japan, but I prefer this performance. Because because an image likes Blas's central ring, and shifts from the original piece of music to a Japanese children's song.

Hi there WhittySalmon and thanks for listening. I have recently swopped over to an Alliance 2A ... from a DW 3. Slightly wider cup, sharper bite and shallower than the Wick 3. Seems to give a brighter sound and maybe better intonation ... but I still do like the Wick. What do you use?
@gameboyextreme10 жыл бұрын
Mags496 I normally use DW 3 aswell but might have to try out a 2A like yourself a :) once again fantastic playing

@TomsTenorHorn10 жыл бұрын
Hi Dippyhull and thank you for listening:-D!! Yes ... it's just the piano accompaniment transcribed for three horns and then multi tracked. Do you play Tenor Horn?
@Dippyhull10 жыл бұрын
Mags496 Use to play >10 years back - Not these days - I used to with some of the east Yorkshire bands for a while... among other instruments arround the band but horn is my fav!
