They should make a MagSafe trio to have one square for AirPods because the AirPods are an essential with the latest iPhones as much as the Watch has become. The Duo should be $100 & the Trio could be $130 if the extra coil plate is another $10-15 for that third square

FYI. If you want the fastest charging you need a block with 30w or higher. I had the 20w one and it didn’t charge fast.

Good video❗️ My wife and I both keep all of our Apple 🍎 products for a very long time and we end up having to replace our chargers or cables before we replace our iPads or iPhones so we don’t have extra charger just laying around everywhere. We have decided that when we get our new iPad 12’s this year we “are not” buying Apple 🍏 chargers we are going to buy other manufacturers products, I know it doesn’t mean 😢 a thing to Apple but it makes me feel a little better. 👍✅🤗

So really, you are actually adding bulk to your travel accessories by having this? You still need your brick and cable, but instead of using the cable to the phone, you connect it to the charger. Basically you are just swapping out the duo charger for the watch cable. Not sure that's a room saver nor is it more convenient?

Yes it is expensive charger and without the brick too, but yeah, I bought one. It is an awesome product to have, it will be great for traveling. Once we can travel again.

I Feel the same, It’s a great product, like a really premium feeling and such a great idea for people always on the move, it’s unacceptable that this not come with the power Brick, that’s the big fail, but despite of that, if you travel a lot, this is the right device, for others definitely not worthy.

Belkin is slow. Logitech Powered 3 in 1 is the way to go. Caveat: the puck and stand are quick; pad is slow (5W I think). Watch can charge 5 to 100 in 1.5hrs. I have yet to time the phone as I charge overnight.

It would have been great if they implemented it with USB-C. So when traveling you‘d only need ONE cable to charge your ipad / macbook or the iPhone / Watch via the duo charger. Now you still need two cables. I really don‘t get it. Its a missed opportunity.

You can get a "usbC" to "usbC" and "usbA" with (additional usbA and usb3.1) adapter that will handle charge to phone and watch with one brick from amazon for £20 minus brick cost. Thats if using Apple watch charger with usbA and iphone 12 lightning to usbC cable.

The Magsafe Duo Charger is not a perfect device. I watched another KZbin video about the Magsafe duo. Beside it be overpriced, it biggest issue, according to the other KZbinr is the flexible zone in the center. According to the other individual the center section can break after two years of normal wear. Better Apple should have made the Duo Charger as a single one piece fixed design. While not being able to fold it, the fixed design would be far more durable. I almost bought two of these devices; one for my sister as well as one for myself. When I heard about the durability issue with the folding section, it was a real game changer. Better to buy a separate single Magsafe charger. I have found that the watch charger comes with the watch. If needed buy a power strip and keep both chargers plugged together. A simple power strip should cost $10 or less and last a lot longer than the $129 Magsafe Duo.
