Support farmers in the UK by opposing the family farm tax … NFU has a petition you can sign on their website…Farmers rely on passing the land through generations to keep food on our plates. I don’t think people can solely blame governments. We are adults. It’s common sense that lab food has no nutrition whatsoever… I hear people say, I can’t afford organic, but the same people will do anything to find money for cigarettes or an alcoholic drink or the latest mobile phone! Adults don’t care what they feed themselves or their kids providing it’s cheap, yet don’t think twice for spending a fortune on their addictions. Adults need to take accountability for their health, the food ‘they choose’ to buy! The public are extremely powerful when it comes to what they spend their money on. The corporations putting toxins in food would go bust if the public STOP buying them. People are quick to blame others, when they need to look in the mirror and ask themselves what they can do differently.

Small scale regenerative farmer here, also advising conventional farmers on how to improve the resilience and health of their soil AND their profitability. Farmers of every stripe share common ground when it comes to making a living and sustaining their land. *All* farmers should be free from the crushing pressure of a globalised food system and elites who don't have the first clue what to do with a seed and a patch of dirt. Local food, grown to an organic standard, using regenerative methods which improve soil health. Short supply chains, local markets. Farmer to consumer. No middlemen. Food sovereignty. It's within everyone's grasp. In 2019 I was close to checking out completely, working a mind numbing job in a London office which had the good sense to literally burn itself down a couple of months before covid. I now own a market garden business supplying my local community in South Devon, healthier and happier than ever. Thanks John for your perseverance and wonderful spirit. I watch a number of off-grid homesteading channels that are taking undeveloped or depleted land and by rotating in chickens, then next season cattle, goats and sheep, get what was basically a barren piece of land and in 3 years that land is able to support a multitude of crops - more than what they can possibly use themselves. One family started with a single 10m X 10m lot divided into 3m X 3m sections and rotated the chickens weekly. The next year they did another 2 lots of chickens and put one or 2 cows into the last year chicken lot. Now about 6 years later they are looking to purchase the land next door and rehabilitate that too, and in the meantime are selling the HEALTHY produce at the local markets. Then there is a guy like Shaun Overton who is figuring out how to take a piece of desert in the driest part of Texas and somehow make it into an oasis. THIS is how GOOD FOOD should be produced.

@byronedwards815718 күн бұрын
@@JoanMcDermott-rj8vb Wishful Thinking. I would love to see Bobby run the AG as well, but even if Trump did fire the AG and place Kennedy as interim AG without Senate confirmation the Senate would halt every confirmation and go to war with the administration. Whose to say that won’t happen anyway? Especially if Dems keep the Senate. But in reality, the war has already begun. Kennedy himself has said he is a “real threat” to the establishment and “does not want to “stifle the Trump administration” when asked if he would be nominated head of the CIA. Also, Trump echoed that sentiment during his interview with Joe Rogan that there were disagreements Trump and Kennedy have with “big oil” for example. “I love that liquid gold!” Trump exclaimed. So don’t expect Kennedy working as Secretary of the interior, EPA or much less AG. Let’s be glad if he lasts long enough in the USDA to get petrol fertilizers out of our food as Secretary of Agriculture. FYI, the only role of power that Trump could give Bobby Kennedy that does not require Senate confirmation is White House Chief of Staff. But given their disagreements I think Trump would have to be cornered into a position of no other choice to do something that threatening to Big Oil. The best thing to do really is give Bobby clearance to be one of Trump’s top political advisors for the vetting process. As much as Trump values loyalty we may see that happen.

We also have to get regulators out of it on the state and federal level. Georgia, historically was a agrarian state, but Atlanta has started to drive small producers out of business. An example is a local farmer that raised real free-range chickens, he can no longer remain in business because of the regulation requirements. They favor large factory-farm producers. The regulations are intentionally doing this.

@PrincipalAudio19 күн бұрын
@jolyons7370 D3 high dose (10,000+ IU), alongside K2 (200 mcg), Magnesium (200mg) and a high strength B complex. Vitamin D deficiency is known to make the immune system hypersensitive, so improving levels (including the cofactors mentioned) calms it down and prevents severe reactions and allergies.

In Israel, we mostly prepare our food from scratch. Also, in Israel, we have a very very good health system.
