But in this series, Ashwatthama is an underrated character because he has narayana astra, bhrama astra and and few divine weapons, but in this series he looks like he is not even completed training, Ashwatthama is equal to Bhishma, Karna, Drona, Arjuna. In the original Mahabharata his power showed well, his kill count in Mahabharata is 3rd highest after Arjuna, Bhishma. Defeated 4 out 5 pandavas, and almost defeated Arjuna in the 2nd day war, in the end Krishan guides Arjuna how to escape from ashwatthama and defeat ashwatthama, then Arjuna defeated ashwatthama. In the Mahabharata war ashwatthama defeated all of the opponents at least once excluding Arjuna.

The one who is acting in Duryodhan role is superb. I believe because of his performance, most of the guys like me become Duryodhan fan. Waiting to see Duryodhan in action. It will be good to see, if he beat Bheema without anyone's help.

We agree on one point at-least. I have already put this else where in another episode. The actor casting as DurYodhana is doing excellent, action, voice lyrics everything is simply superb. I cannot compare any one else. Actors of Sri Krishna, Bheesma, Bheema, Dhrona, Gandhari, Dhrithrshtra, Karna, Draupathi (May be few I missed) all score a distant second. This is acting of casts only, not the epic story BTW.

Arpit ranka suits very well for duryodhanan. no doubt. . But in the real bharatham instead of breaking duryodhanan's thigh with his mace bheem would have done that with his very hands as he did with jarasandhan. by using the mace he gave a chance to people to say that he broke the rule of mace fight. also the mighty bheem wouldve done that at the moment duryodhan implied draupadi to sit on his thighs and burnt the hands of his insensitive elder brother inspite of just saying that.
