we think like 1 to 1 basis. but that is not correct. The logic is since he is the ultimatum, he can take countless forms at the same time if HE wishes to. so he appeared as parasurama even before rama's birth, then continues all the way till mahabharatha, meanwhile Rama came and went, then Krishna came and balaram came and went, many unknown, undocumented avatars might also have happened who knows ?! A story is a story ! ;)

Krishna is not supreme god its vishnu is supreme..he incarnated into various form to save the world @particular time and help his other incarnation to do same..such as Rama in helped parasurama in ramayana and inturn parasurama helped the characters in mahabharatam to create situation for Krishna to arrive this world.this also same for Balram who is elder brother of Krishna is form of vishnu

@Tulipwala: First of all Mahabharata is not a mythology. And Krishna and Parasurama are not incarnation of Visnu. If you read Srimad Bhagavatam it explains clearly that everything comes from Krishna, the original Supreme Lord and not Visnu. Krishna expands into Maha Visnu and then into Garbodakasayi Visnu and then into Ksirodakasayi Visnu. Read Srimad Bhagavatam ! Parasurama's incarnation was for the purpose of anihilating the Ksatriya race. He exist for thousands of years and played a part in Lord Rama's pastimes as well as Krishna's. So to answer your question Krishna and His expansions or incarnations are not subject to time and other material considerations.

This is only your opinion. Show me where it says in the scriptures that Vishnu is Supreme? Go read sastras and don't speculate. Krishna, in his original form is Supreme, not Vishnu. There are 3 expansions of Vishnu originating from Krishna explained in the Srimad Bhagavatam.
